This was the first I have used the Mac Man. They were polite and friendly, and explained their services to me clearly. No quibbles so far, and their pricing seems reasonable.

Good prompt pleasant and, seemingly at least, expert advice and service. I only had a simple service with a few queries but will happily return if I had bigger issues to deal with on my Mac.

My device had a good full service done to it and works just how I bought it again. I would recommend Mac Man for anyone who needs a fast and efficient service at a reasonable price. Only one thing to note, on checking my device I store my battery was not charged at all so couldn't walk out using it until I charged it other than that well done Mac Man!!

Absolutely excellent service over the bank holiday weekend. Saved me from loosing my hard drive and upgraded my MacBook Pro with minimal down time to my business. I am however waiting for a response to a query and would have liked someone to call / email me to arrange a time to tackle a synchronizing issue.

It would have been nice to receive a checklist of actions done and output from diagnostics run, but the explanation that nothing untoward had been found and that all tests ran normally was enough to settle my mind about the performance of my 5 year old iMac. On top of that, a gentle suggestion that a couple of software tools I had installed could explain my performance concerns and were not doing anything useful, made the MOT even more worthwhile. Plus - I have a nice clean (in all respects) iMac. Minus - My arm is recovering from carrying the blessed thing. :0))

Replacement keyboard required following very minor water ingress on a Macbook Air. The MacMan provided a quick diagnosis and executed an excellent repair at a reasonable price. Since then the Macbook has been working perfectly - so great work guys.

The 3-4 different guys I spoke to were all very friendly, and helpful to a non-techie person like me. I am however, still awaiting the outcome of what could turn out to be a massive mistake that somebody appears to have made. I made it very clear that the external hard drive I was bringing in alongside the Mac Pro tower looked like it need reconfiguring in order for the Windows files to be backed up on to the Mac instead of the previous PC machine I had been using. I explained this to the guy I made the booking with on the phone, as well as the guy who took the equipment from me on the day I delivered it. So I was understandably horrified when I plugged the external hard drive back in after the other work had been carried out on the Mac Pro to find that the said Word documents were nowhere to be seen! I called The Mac Man and another guy who I had not spoken to before said that if they were not visible, then the chances were that they were not there at all! I took a few days to think about this and how I would respond. I left a message on the answer phone explaining my displeasure to say the least, and a few hours later, I received a phone call from Matt, the Manager, apologising but more importantly for me, reassuring me that there should be a way to recover the files. Also, very importantly I believe, he reserved judgement on the guy who had carried out the work until he had spoken to him. Customer loyalty is one thing which obviously has to be in place if a business is to succeed but colleague loyalty is also a very important thing with any company I deal with. So, I was very impressed with the way that Matt handled the situation and as I say, we have not reached a resolution yet. Hopefully, it will be a mutually satisfactory one!

Initially took the iPad in for repair after it had been dropped and badly smashed, they promptly gave a quote and undertook the repair within five days. Unfortunately the repair was not totally successful and we had to take it back. They were very apologetic and quickly assessed and fixed the problem within a few more days.

Technically very good and helpful. I shall recommend you to other Mac users. Unfortunately you sent a suspicious email wrongly advising that the bill was unpaid. This was somewhat alarming, as the phone number for reply was not the same as the branch (T Wells) visited. The request for money could have been some kind of foolish attempt at a scam. Not good. It was above board, the bill had been paid and it was your fault that the request was wrongly sent. Such events could do your reputation potential harm.

MacMan is very quick and answering queries via email, very helpful. When visiting the store in person, they are helpful, approachable and friendly. They offer a good variety of offers, such as refurbished laptops and personal IT lessons. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because one of the products I wanted to buy was not in stock at that time. I would recommend MacMan and would use them again.
