Knowledgeable technician gave helpful advice and explained any jargon used. I really wanted assurance that my iMac and Time Capsule are working properly - he gave me that assurance and some useful tips for the future.

Brilliant, professional and a very friendly service, as always! I am happy to recommend the incredibly knowledgeable and 'can do' small team of MAC experts at MacMan, Tunbridge Wells, who will never rip you off, so you can trust their integrity 100%! At a very modest cost, Macman transferred my hard drive from my old Mac G4 (that became defunct as it had lost all its power) into the newest version of another Mac laptop that was compatible, that was needed to save all my precious data. I am so grateful to them! Give them a try for any of your Mac or iPad / iPhone requirements, new or used. You won't be disappointed! Helena R.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Obviously enthusiasts. The job was more complicated than expected but the price was still as quoted and returned on time. It is nice to know they are local and ready to help at any time.

Rapidly sorted out the problem with my MacBook Air. Nice professional looking store in T Wells, staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again and have already recommended them to a friend.

Excellent service. They explained things very well and gave a clear diagnosis of the problem. The fee they quoted was the fee they charged and completed the work sooner than expected. I cannot recommend 'the Man Man' highly enough. Barry Tibbott

I bought my MacBook from MacMan just over three years ago and recently I took it back because something was going wrong. The people who work in the shop are, without exception, friendly and very helpful. I trust them. Although it took quite a while for the problem to be diagnosed and fixed, this was due to a lot of time consuming tests. I'm really happy that MacMan is only a few miles from where I live.

I was going bananas because my iPhone4 ran out of power so quickly. Then I heard that MacMan thought it worth getting a new battery fitted (I'd assumed there was no point). One brief visit and the phone was soon done; all explained; very helpful for non-technological me.

Clear open advice on repairing an iPhone which had screen problems. Repairs were done and the phone as good as new within a couple of days. Will definitely recommend to others.

I dropped my laptop in and was told that once the problem was identified I would be contacted re:the cost of the fix and agreed diagnosis cost. When I was called to pick it up I was informed it was fixed. When I queried the cost as I had never agreed it (far higher than the diagnosis cost) I was told that the fix had occurred during the diagnostic tests??? but as the problem had been fixed (or so they thought as I was informed the error would most likely occur again) I was being charged time for the fix..? Didn't make sense to me as the fix occurred during the diagnosis, which I had paid for. I paid but was pretty disgusted that I had incurred costs without them being agreed by me and without additional work by the mac man. I won't be going back

Hi Victoria Thanks for making us aware of this situation and very I’m sorry this was your experience. Our team are all instructed to never create an invoice line without the customers express approval - either verbal or written. So I do not know what has happened in this instance but I will investigate. Therefore, as you paid an additional £30 above the agreed assessment fee, I’ve applied a £30 credit onto your account. We would appreciate it if you gave is the opportunity to change your opinion of us but if you’d rather receive a partial refund then please come into either store with the card you made the the payment on to receive the money back on it (I’ve made a note of it on your account so anyone in the team can do this in either store). In regards to being advised the problem may potentially come back - as the problem was Malware which is obtained through users internet usage we cannot guarantee if Malware will ever be picked up again or not; as it all depends upon future internet usage. However, we can 100% guarantee the malware we just removed has been removed for good and will never come back. Hope this helps. Regards, Jon (company owner)
