“Easy to order Excellent quality wood Ordered full crate of Oak logs Sadly this company was let down by the courier delivery but luxury wood kept me informed. Luxury wood apologised and I was told they would put a goodwill gesture on my account”

“Nervously tried The Luxury Wood Company after my long term supplier was repeatedly out of stock. Blown away by the quality and volume of logs in crate. They were delivered on a filthy wet day so left them untouched for 24hrs, wrapping was so good not a drop of moisture got in. Nothing to fault about the whole experience and I will be back for more.”

“The wood is true to description. Burns really well and would buy again. Delivery was a huge disappointment as was left right in the middle of driveway and no one notified us the delivery had been made.”

“Excellent company to deal with. Delivered within the timeframe offered and by a very helpful and friendly delivery guy who managed to crane in to a tricky part of the garden. Oak sleepers look lovely and exactly what we wanted. Would use this company again.”

“Brilliant delivery driver. Wood seems very good although the pallet at the bottom was very wet so we will have to dry some of the lower logs. The ones we have used so far meet everything the web site claims. Just a little disappointed with the wet ones.”

“Ordered a crate of Alder fromThe Luxury Wood Company. Received exactly what was in their description. See photo. 4 stars given. As delivery timings were a bit haphazard. Re not notified when goods were to be delivered. Other than that. Would i order again? Yes.”

“The crate of logs turned up within the specified time as detailed in delivery terms, and delivery firm rang to arrange delivery date so no uncertainty there. I expect to by from LWC again.”

“The logs were delivered on time, well packed to keep out the rain and moisture. Driver moved them from the curb over the hard surface to my wood store adjacent to the garage. It was my first purchase of Hornbeam instead of Ash. The logs are burning well, very dry [bark falling off] if on the small size compared with previously purchased Oak and Ash. Would buy Hornbeam again.”

“Poor comms around delivery. It was ordered and then it was delivered. Good quality though. 6% moisture content on average. Burns very well. We got the oak.”

“Pallets were not the size stated on the website. Consequently they did not fit through my gate as they have done in previous years. As a result, rather than just transferring to wood to my log shed, I had to move every log twice into out of a wheel barrow. Made an absolute nonsense of ordering part of the load as bagged.”
