“Exactly as described. Oak burns hot and slow..... so much better than aldi/ B and M packets and much cheaper per kg. Delivered on time and the driver was willing to get pallet close to my door.. thank you.”

“Two assignments of logs from the Luxury Wood Company delivery was late, The courier said I was not in as they passed by our door. both courier and the Luxury Wood Company assured me they would not let me down, both closed their communications before 5pm. When complained about this service they awarded £30 of my next delivery. When the next delivery came it was the worst grade with 2/3 small logs. At that point I stopped doing business with them and asked to be removed from their customers.”

“The service was good. Delivery on time and the pallet was unloaded into a convenient place. My only gripe is that, although the timber is dry and well packaged, the majority of the individual logs are small and more suited to a log-burner than to an open fire, which is what I wanted. Nevertheless, a good service overall.”

“The service was excellent, the moisture content of the wood was as described as was the create size (large pallet) I was disappoint with the diameter of the logs most being very small, all hidden in the centre of the pallet, I would guess 50% was not much larger than kindling. The oak logs all spat, which I was very surprised at (two holes in the carpet) having burnt kiln dried wood for some years this is the first time I have had any that spat. I would say the oak will be fine for a wood burner, which I haven't lit yet, but not good on our open fire.”

“This year is the third time I've purchased kiln dried logs from The Luxury Wood Company. Always pleased to get this in the woodshed. Perfect size for my wood burner, efficient burning, great for those winter nights. Bonus is the crate it comes in, weeks of good dry kindling once cut and chopped. Recommend any day.”

“Heat logs 960kg pallet ordered, dispatched very quickly and arrived in good order ontime. Top product that burns with intense heat and are long lasting and very reasonably priced. Very good firm to deal with and I'll be ordering from them again”

“This time some of the logs will need chopping, they are rather large. They do say that if you chop the logs you get warm twice! Otherwise, good, as usual.”

“This review relates to my recently delivery of KG Premium Wood pellet: The pellets themselves looked to be EN A1 compliant in that there were few long pellets and the bagging was sufficiently robust. However, on arrival, there was a significant loss of pellets caused by poor handling i.e. 4 bags on the pallet corners were torn but, worse still, another 5 bags on the bottom layer were torn because of the flimsy pallet used; it flexed excessively when lifted by the forklift. Finally, the bags had no recycling information. I would have hoped for an LD4 symbol?”

“Very pleased with the quality of the logs as usual and the efficient service. The delivery arrangements have improved dramatically over the years with the on set of the electric pump truck which according to my recent delivery driver most drivers now have. He can now easily manuover up drive and straight into garage, so I can unload at leisure. It makes a massive difference. He was exceptionally helpful. Overall a very good experience which I would highly recommend.”

“Ordering process very good and free delivery great. I wish a smaller lorry could be used as we live on a country lane and have a steep drive which means the load has to be dropped at the bottom of our drive which, in turn, makes it very difficult to move into our shed. Apart from that, excellent service and would definitely recommend them.”
