“We've had our wood from the Luxury Wood Company for around 3 years now and never had cause to complain. We order either ash or oak in a large crate. It's easy to order and the progress of your order can be tracked. All our orders have been delivered on time on the day we request. Both woods we burn are good kiln dried wood. The ash seems hotter and burns faster the oak is slower burning and does not give out so much immediate heat which we prefer. Our crate is taken off the back of the lorry and the driver wheels it into our storage area. We shall continue to use this company owing to their reliability and quality of the product.”

“I’ve had a few orders with the Luxury Wood Company, and in the whole I am delighted with their products and services. I typically buy 70 sacks of kiln dried Ash, which is delivered on a pallet. This is much easier to handle and move around the place to the store compared with a full load of stacked wood on a pallet, which typically takes 2 hours for me to store. Massive time saver and still good value. Delivery team are excellent, and call ahead and deliver close to our garage which is where we store our logs. The team who deliver have a powered pallet truck and are able to get across a chunky gravel drive, where in the past with other companies it was impossible and logs ended up a long way from where they were needed. The kiln dried Ash burns brilliantly, fiercely and cleanly which is great, and kindling is not required to get the logs going, where in the past with other suppliers, I’ve needed to split logs down, which is fun...for a while... Al in all, good stuff. One thing that I have noticed with my most recent delivery, is that for the same number of sacks delivered there appears to be around a quarter to a thing less wood per sack visually and weight when lugging them around, while the price has increased by a few percent since my previous order. I’m sure the team can explain this to me, and I’d be delighted to discuss this with them. However - I must stress that the company is good to deal with, they sell great products, and have the best logistics team I’ve worked with for bulky firewood delivery. These guys are my first choice for firewood.”

“I have used Luxury Wood for a few years now. I have tried every other kiln-dried wood supplier but the wood that I get from Luxury Wood is far superior. 3 logs can last a whole evening in my wood-burning stove. The glass needs cleaning less often and my chimney sweep also commented on how clean my chimney is.”

“The operator who took my order over the phone was so friendly and helpful ,I always use this company. The driver who delivered followed the operators instructions and helped me empty the bags of wood off the pallet and took the pallet away, he even went to the trouble of taking the wood around the back of my house to the wood store a fantastic company thank you.”

“Hitherto I've had nothing but positives for the company & their product. This time around, their notification of delivery day & time was all rather rushed, which resulted in my having to move all the logs from the road outside my house at the very time I'd said delivery would not be convenient...hence the score of 4 rather than 5!”

“The ordering and delivery was fine but the wood that arrived was damp and although had been kiln dried at some point, it had obviously been left outside for a period of time before being sent to us. The wood wouldn't burn so we are now left with wood that cost nearly £200 that won't heat our home. We contacted Luxury Wood who asked us to send them damp readings. We don't have a damp meter and believe that they should have offered a refund/partial refund regardless. This was the first time we have used Luxury Wood as our usual supplier wasn't able to deliver for 4 weeks. We will not be using them again.”

We have asked you to provide us with moisture reading of some the logs so that we have any sort of evidence and take the matter further in terms of putting things right for you. We haven't received any photos, moisture readings or etc. thus far, hence why we are not able to assist any further until the above are provided.
