“Oak sleepers arrived when they said it would. Delivery driver was helpful with a can do attitude and the cost was competitive. Will definitely use again as I need to order additional components for a custom built fence.”

“Second order from LWC, to allow me to finish the garden project started last year. Great prices, and good quality oak. Had sleepers, planks and posts this time. last order has weathered well and hasn't split / cracked, so well pleased. Communication re the delivery was really good as well and everything was delivered on time and carefully located so we could still put the car on the drive. Would recommend”

“The quality and quantity of the hornbeam crate is the best I've seen and represented good value compared to loose builders bags from my local supplier. The only niggle was the delivery company Pallet force let the service down a little by only giving 40 minutes notice of delivery. I would have hoped for at least a day's notice of delivery date, so I could arrange to be home. I wasn't near home at the time and so this could have been a problem but luckily my wife wasn't working that day.”

“The wood is good quality. The biggest issue with the company is the delivery communication. This has been consistently bad. Once the wood is ordered, the company is supposed to contact you to arrange a delivery date. I have either had to chase them or, as happened with the last order, it just turned up without any notice at all.”

“Very happy with our full crate of Birch logs. The quality is excellent and the price is comparable to local suppliers. Delivery was also quick.”

“The logs delivered bore no resemblance to those advertised. A third of the logs in the crate could only be described as kindling with a further third, if split once, would also become kindling. I contacted the company and sent the required pictures and was then informed that they felt that the logs met the required specifications i.e. 25cm in length and 8-15cm in width. I would contest that. The company offered a £30 voucher for a future order but this does mean going back to them. The logs delivered will burn away very quickly meaning the whole pallet will be gone within weeks. Between the reduction in pallet size, without any price reduction, and the quality of the wood delivered I feel very disappointed with the product and would not recommend it.”

Despite that, seeing your disappointment, we offered a voucher for a future purchase. Please note, birch in general has smaller trunk, you may want to consider oak and beech for the future. LWC Team

“Will use this company again. Order arrived very quickly, the oak wood ordered was fantastic. Great prices. Used to make a bed for someone who couldn’t afford to buy an oak bed but could afford the wood from luxury wood company. Once sanded, cut, routed, and oiled the wood looks fantastic they was very happy. Good solid wood”

“The crate of seasoned ash logs was delivered on time and as requested. "You get what it says on the tin". It was quite expensive, and the price has increased significantly over the last couple of years, but it was competitive at the time of ordering. I assume The Luxury Wood Company was not responsible for Brexit or the mismanagement of the Country.”
