“Ordered some new oak sleepers from Luxury wood. Impressed with the service and the product, nicely finished and well packaged for delivery. Delivery and drop off was prompt and without drama, delivery being made earlier than planned by arrangement. Would definitely recommend.”

“Fist time we've bought from The Luxury Wood company. We're very pleased with the logs we bought though too early to say how well they burn as we haven't lit our woodburner yet. They were well packed and we were able to track delivery online. The log size is as described so I expect if they burn as well as they should that we will definitely be ordering again. B and C Hunt Newmarket”

“The wood was great, just what I wanted. The customer service was dreadful. The call handler I spoke to couldn't have cared less about my enquiry. The company uses pallex for delivery, and they were even worse.”

“First time of ordering and apart from a wee hiccup on the delivery (the driver was very unhelpful) everything turned up as ordered. After I complained, The Luxury Wood Company sorted my complaint out and I will use in future. Quality is very good and I have no hesitation in recommending.”

“I ordered two giant crates of logs, one for myself and one for my sister living in North Wales. Although my crate was delivered a day earlier than expected with no prior notification, the delivery man was really helpful and got it into my garage with no problems at all - first rate guy. My sister's delivery was a nightmare from start to finish. First I got an email from Pallex saying it would be delivered at 5.30 p.m. - rang my sister to say it was on its way as it was after 5 pm when I saw the email. It never arrived but at 5.38 I got an email saying it had been delivered. I contacted Pallex head office but the local deport must have closed for the day. In the end it turned out that it had not even left their local depot. It finally turned up without any prior notification but fortunately my sister was at home. She said he was the worst delivery driver she had ever dealt with - did not want to put it into the garage and these are enormous crates of wood. I found it annoying as I have been buying a crate as a birthday present for a number of years and she has a lot of hassle with the delivery.”

“Good quality wood, the only thing I would say that having two large crates of wood delivered there should just be one delivery fee in stead of two two separate fees, other wood company's that we use only charge one delivery fee on how much you purchase or free on two large crates.”

“I normally have a big crate of Ash logs but big crates were not available this year, so I bought a crate of Oak with the summer discount. I have never had such bad logs. They were full of moss and chips and they were all split really small which means they will burn too quickly. I will go elsewhere next year.”
