“Really good product as I was initially sceptical due to lack of info... In a pack are 5 "Bricks", each one can easily be broken in to three, you don't have to chuck the whole piece. Burns well and good heat output. Will purchase again”

“the quality of the crated wood is very good however the pallets and the crates (although intended as only single use} are barely strong enough for the task and sometimes compromise the delivery.”

“Very poor communication. When you do get an e-mail, the tone of it is one of annoyance with having been contacted with questions relating to your order. You are expected to contact the seller to arrange delivery rather than them contacting you, like everyone else selling on the internet does. Also beware of poor quality pieces of wood packed behind good pieces of wood, so everything looks good on the outside when you accept delivery. Bit dishonest, and very disappointing.”

“Wood delivered was fantastic. Nice and dry and ready to burn. We chose Birch and are very happy with it. Incredible heat and a nice sweet aroma. We also had it delivered in nets which made it so much easier to move it round to the wood store at the back of the house. The pallet came in useful too. Great communication from The Luxury Wood Company as well as a very good price, including free delivery. Highly recommended.”

“The full size crate of kiln dried Birch arrived in good condition wrapped with netting and clingfilm. The delivery firm were most helpful and courteous. The wood itself is of good quality and burns readily. Would order again.”

“The quality of the wood looks good as usual and the driver was extremely helpful BUT I'm not so sure that the 2 to 5 working day delivery as advertised on the website really stacks up as again, as last time, I had to chase for a delivery date having had no contact from the company other than an order confirmation. To be fair once I phoned them they could have delivered next day but they shouldn't need the customer to chase them. Also the crates are a little "top heavy" and the drivers do struggle to get them off the lorries without them tipping over. As stated before though I am happy with the product not withstanding the big price rises over last year.”

“The delivery company let me down by not delivering on the agreed day. The female I spoke to about non delivery was rude and would not apologise. I may order wood elsewhere next time. This means I waited at home for 2 days costing me a lot of money. Your comments please.”
