“Probably like you, I was searching the Internet for a supply of firewood for my log burner. I came across the luxury wood co and have them a try. Delivery was quick and the crate was as described. Big. I opted for birch as ash was out of stock. The birch is great, burn slightly quicker than the rest but is slightly cheaper. The upside is that all the wood has firelighter attached !! Just peel the bark off a log and it’s perfect for starting the fire up. Bone dry wood and great value.”

“We had waited well over the 10 days for the wood to be delivered. We were hoping to receive it for Christmas Day and it is now Christmas Eve! Very poor service. I would not recommend the company to anyone.”

“hi all ,l thought when you ordered that the delivery company that you use telephone me to make delivery arrangements,if that is not the case will you let me know as the pallet load of wood arrived in the pooring rain and l had to leave it outtill the next day as l was taking it easy due to just coming out of hospital”

“Once we got the delivery sorted out the service was excellent. The delivery driver went to extraordinary lengths to make sure that the logs were left easily accessible for my son and I which was quite difficult because of all the rain. The logs are now being used and are proving their worth burning beautifully. Will definitely be using them again”

“Exactly as described, all logs even length. Burn well, exactly what we ordered. Delivery company used went out of their way to put the crate in our garage.”

“The wood looks good stacked, does burn a little hotter than our normal supplier, but at £300 it was twice as expensive as our normal supplier. Couple that with the three week delivery time and I don’t think we’ll be going back. The wood does the job very nicely, but value for money comes up short.”

“no complaints about the wood, but the delivery driver really pi**ed off my other half, who was at home when the delivery came. He arrived in a bad mood and made it worse. She said 'never order from these people again' to me as soon as he had gone.”

“Only just unpacked the large crate. Wood seems fine, dry, well cut into quarters and lengths very consistent (about 10inches). No little twigs or branches, proper logs. Only issue is that the crate cannot be moved over gravelled drives and is very heavy. Unpacking is a simple (though time consuming) job. Best if it can be put into a woodstore rather than leaving it in the crate.”

“From completing the online form to payment to pre delivery to actual delivery is simple. The wood quality is excellent and to have kiln dried logs is ideal. My only criticism is the cost which is comparatively high compared to other firms.”

“The beech logs are very high quality and their moisture content is perfect for immediate use. My only criticism is that, while the logs were a uniform length, a number were far too fat to fit in my relatively small stove so had to be chopped down to size.”
