“Order process went smoothly. Crate of wood well packed and very thoroughly wrapped, so no issues of lost wood. Delivery went well, especially given the haulage issues at the moment. The driver was professional, no complaints.”

“We usually buy birch, but as it was out of stock we decided to have beech instead. Crates were well packed and it was easy to unload. The logs are a good size for our CB 2 and throw out a good amount of heat. They are very dry and so conform to current standards relating to wood used for fires. There is little ash and what there is can go on the compost heap.”

“My first delivery of k/d logs from The Luxury Wood Co., I was most impressed by the packaging of the logs, the moisture content they are nice and dry and the speed of delivery from order to delivery. I will certainly be making orders in the future. Thankyou”

“Pallex delivery driver only had an inadequate pump action pallet trolley so couldn't even transport my pallet of Oak logs 25 yards up my lane. (which the previous supplier with an electrically assisted trolley was happy to do for me) He left the pallet in the mouth of the lane and I had to wheelbarrow 4 nets at a time up the slope and stack them. 15 strenuous trips ...and I'm 72 years old.”

“I did email yourself about the haulage company that was delivering my logs , which you just ignored I do appreciate the current situation about HGV drivers etc however it was getting frustrated when I had to stay at home for three days waiting for the consignment to arrive . It was difficult to just to find out any information. The haulage company could only tell me the consignment was out for delivery no details other than that . Finally on the the third day the consignment the consignment turned up about 4pm . All I wanted in the whole process was to be informed and up dated . I did attempt to phone the Luxury Wood , after several attempts I gave up . I could hear the line ringing out but no one was picking .up Therefore reference the question below “ how did the company reply to my query” is quite frankly a joke , there is no tick box to say they never got back to me . Overall because of this I have scored only 3 Stars out of five ,”

Dear customer, We are sorry for the experience. We are afraid that the Logistics industry has been affected lately by a lot and they all struggle with driver and fuel shortages and increased volumes. This has led to severe drop in quality of the service and their customer support. I hope the industry will recover soon and will go back to their previous standards. LWC Team

“Put my order through at the start of September with a promised delivery within 5-15 days. 20 days later no contact so I chase only to receive an email saying 'logistics will be in touch'. Its now 25 days since order with no contact so would say don't bother ordering via this company!”

“Based on service the company I find very good timescale of delivery was good. Stacking in the crates was good. As for the wood we have not used any as weather has been ok but we have looked at it and the wood looks good and light in weight so moisture in wood should be low .would order again from company”

“I have had two deliveries from this company so far, and will undoubtedly be having a third when the time comes. I have had Birch logs, and the product has been excellent. It has been wrapped well for delivery, so that it stays dry even when left outside, and not attended to immediately, the logs are a good size, and burn well and brightly. We did have a problem with a reluctant delivery man, but the problem was sorted by the Luxury Wood Company and the delivery came the very next day. I hasten to add that the delivery man was employed by the delivery company, and not Luxury Wood. When it arrived the replacement delivery man, who has delivered before, placed it, without instruction, in precisely the right place. Well done to all involved. Good product, good price, good service, what more could you ask for!”
