“As per its name! By far the best quality hardwood I’ve bought in years. I’ve always previously bought bulk bags from my local wood supplier yet the quality always varied and many times they has snuck in softwood and rotten stuff. I’ve purchased the largest crate from The Luxury Wood Company and initially didn’t think there was as much as I hoped however you then discover it’s so tightly packed the quantity is deceptive. The wood burns very slowly and gives off such a heat I didn’t realise what rubbish I was previously using. I’m using far less wood now for far better results. I don’t usually write reviews however on this occasion I felt it was deserved. I will be purchasing from this company again (even the delivery driver said how good it was!)”

“The quality of the wood supplied yet again is the best we`ve used over the past 10 years. It always arrives on time, it`s always brilliantly packed, and the driver always leaves it in a suitable place on the house driveway so that it is quickly stored. I have recommended The Luxury Wood Company to a number of my friends as a quality supplier with a superior wood product. Keep up the good work.”

“No communication from order placed to receiving. Crate was a little short on logs could easily have had two more layers of logs in places to have been level filled Other than that wood appears good quality”

“Although I really wanted to like this company, Must say that a couple of issues have caused me to not intend to use them again. 1) I was not told that my pallet of wood would be delivered by a vehicle that would drop it on the sidewalk outside my drive and I would have to move it from there 2) The wood was covered in plastic--this is unsustainable and unacceptable. Dried wood does not need to be covered in plastic.”

“Very good quality, just disappointed the delivery driver would not move the logs along the flat drive, previous companies have moved to my garage (I had read delivery kerbside). Seemed pointless having them delivered in a cage when with difficulty we had to unload them.”

“The heat logs arrived within a week, they are well packaged and clean to handle. They light easily, burn very well and are the best of many that I have tried.”

“The firewood is excellent as always, the netting bags making it so much easier to bring indoors. However we still have our ongoing complaint about the courier. Again they did not call to arrange delivery meaning, that I had to greet them at the garage in my pyjamas! The driver said he did not have a phone number on his delivery sheet but he did know about our request to phone before arriving, which incidentally was very early. This is the third or fourth time this has happened.”

“Good selection of fire wood and interesting eco options as alternatives. We liked the coffee logs, they burn and simmer slowly during a cold evening. Delivery was quick and prices although not the cheapest are not over the top for small orders.”
