“Product as described and delivered relatively quickly- the bonus was that I constructed a new compost heap with pallet cum crate. Kiln dried oak tried in the wood burner and met my expectations - the compost is almost full too.”

“Always good quality wood, have had quite a few deliveries now and no issues at all. The delivery drivers are always so friendly and they always put the wood where I request in the garage (I order the "massive" crate every year, so it can't be easy for just one person!!! They never moan or complain) Thank you!!!!!! 👍👍👍”

“We were very disappointed with the latest delivery from The Luxury Wood Company. We usually purchase ash logs from you in nets. The quality has always been excellent. This time we chose to have the large crate of ash. We found that the contents lacked the quality of previous deliveries in nets. The logs were very dusty. They were not uniform - certainly not as attractive and uniform as they look on your website. Some were misshapen. Quite a few were “bitty”. Some looked old and mouldy. Some didn’t even look like ash at all. All in all, a poor quality effort from the “Luxury” wood company. Clearly there would be hassle in returning them to you now that they’ve been stacked in our garage and the crate destroyed - but a gesture from you in the form of a discount from this purchase would be very welcome.”

“This is the third year I have ordered wood from this company. With an on-line account set up, re-ordering is simple. If like me I store and use the wood direct from the crate, the delivery drivers are as helpful as possible regards positioning the crate on your property, providing you have a good pathway for an electric fork trolley to manoeuvrer over. I have never had any warning from my chimney sweep regards the inside of the flue and due to the dryness of the wood, I use less, typically 5 to 6 pieces of oak a night in a 7.5Kw stove.”

“Great product good service,only one negative point the delivery company failed to contact us with a time and date and disregard the request for a small vehicle luckily we were at home , or our order would have been left on the side of the road as we don’t have a curb please get the delivery firm to phone next time. Thanks.”

“Easy to book online, well managed process, excellent delivery experience with driver who put the pallet exactly where we wanted it. The delivery was well packed and the wood well stacked in consistent chopped sizes for storage. Good experience all round.”

“We chased the delivery after two weeks as we had heard nothing. We were promised the delivery that day (a Friday) between 2pm and 6pm but it never turned up. We then chased it again on the Monday and were promised delivery between 4pm and 5pm but it didn't turn up so we called just before 5pm and were on hold for 15 mins and then received an automated message saying that the office was closed. We then chased it again the next day and eventually received the delivery an hour after it was promised on that day. Other companies enable you to pick a delivery day and actually deliver so we believe The Luxury Wood Co need to improve their logistics before we would order from them again.”

“Quality of Oak sleepers was very good, ordering smooth and delivery on time well within timeframe stipulated. However delivery arrived without any communication saying time and date. At 6pm whilst on my evening walk I received a phone call from the delivery driver that he was outside the house.”

“Very good logs burn very well. well packed on the pallet. Its fitted easily into a corner of the garage. Very good delivery driver. He manoeuvred the logs into our garage very well. It was not easy.”

“The only thing is we were not notified of the delivery date and time, so they just turned up on the day it was raining ☔️ and consequently part of the logs got wet and were lost as it cannot stand or survive humidity!!!”
