“The wood is top quality and burns really well. So much is crammed into the crates it’s quite impressive. My only issue would be the purchase process. You get an invoice for the purchase but then hear nothing until the third party delivery company calls to arrange a date. A little more feedback from the luxury wood company would be good just to assure their customers that all is well. It can be quite a few days before the delivery company calls. It’s a lot of money to spend without much contact.”

“Ordered the large crate of birch. 95% was great. But there was a handful of rotten to buggery logs in there. Had to bin them off. But the rest are all good”

“I have made multiple purchases of the kiln dried oak logs, they are an outstanding fuel for a log burner. LWC are a most reputable supplier of firewood, delivery is prompt. Prices have risen but that is the case across the firewood industry.”

“I ordered a number of different items and all arrived in good condition. The delivery date was messed up but that was by the delivery company not The Luxury Wood Co. and, when it was delivered the driver was very helpful so just one of those things.”

“I usually use oak in my wood fired oven but a friend recommended birch. I bought a large crate but after a few cooks, it is really dreadful with continuous thick black smoke and soot. I have tried removing all the bark (there is far too much bark in the crate) but it’s still really poor and virtually unusable. If I could return it, I would. To be fair to LWC, my previous order of oak was fantastic. Bad batch maybe?”
