“I have had my first delivery of a large Beech Crate. Delivered on the exact day promised, and the wood is amazing, burns so well, and so clean. Well done 100 out of 100”

“Have always been delighted with Luxury Wood in recent years. Excellent logs and competitive prices. In past years Customer Services have provided good info regarding deliveries but not this year. Originally our 2 pallets were scheduled for delivery on 19th October so I waited in all day for it but I was informed at 4pm that they had transport difficulties. Delivery was rearranged for the morning of 22nd October. No delivery or feedback from them. Chasing up Customer Services in the afternoon I was informed that delivery would arrive later that day. No delivery and no feedback from Customer Services that day - a second day wasted waiting for delivery. I phoned them the next day and was told that delivery would be within one hour. It was! Have recommended them to others in previous years but would be reluctant to after this experience...”

Dear Richard, We are sorry for the unpleasant experience you had with our subcontractor Pall-Ex. All transport companies are doing their best to operate as normal as possible during those difficult times and some of them are failing to provide their usual service. We are all hoping we will get through this safely.

“This is our fourth yearly order of logs for the Winter. No issues, delivery good, the driver manoeuvres pallet down the driveway and in against wall. Overall cheaper and more convenient than buying smaller amounts through Winter months. Will be back To order next Autumn.”

“This is a very good form to deal with, from beginning to end. Online ordering is so simple and really good quality of wood. I was unsure of delivery and a simple email was all I had to do and the reply was immediate. Wont go anywhere else.”

“The wood was left on the pavement boundary with my property and impeded pedestrians , particularly those with push chairs and wheelchairs. The wood ordered was meant to be mixed hardwood species but was entirely low grade ash covered in dirt which makes it hard to light. The plastic cover was ripped in several places and the wood got wet in the rain”

“Straightforward ordering, delivery when promised. The quality of the bulk bag of manure was generally very good. A slight whiff of ammonia and a few hard lumps, but mostly pleasant to handle. Price not the cheapest, but fair value for good quality. I will be buying again.”
