“The logs (kiln dried beech) and log store were of good quality and no problems at all but the delivery service was abysmal. The logs were delivered first but despite being clearly labeled to be delivered in 7.5 ton truck with tail lift they were dispatched in a 40 ton truck which the driver said he could not get up the road/driveway to deliver the large crate, so this was abandoned on the main road some distance from the house and garage. Fortunately there was a builder working next door who kindly moved the crate for us with his fork lift. The log store was delivered a week later but this was not even delivered to the correct address. It was simply abandoned in the driveway entrance of my neighbour's property, without even notifying either my neighbours or ourselves, despite both of us being at home throughout the day. Another of my neighbours then had to deliver it to us using his agricultural tractor. You really need to take up these issues with the haulage company you use for delivery if we are to use your company again. The above grading of "acceptable" is a compromise, the goods I would rate as good to very good but the delivery service as very poor.”

“We had been let down by our usual log provider. We found the website easy to use. Great communication from the company. Swift delivery by a very pleasant and extremely helpful young man. The logs are excellent quality and hardly any waste at all. We are very pleased and will be back for more when required. Highly recommended The Luxury Wood Company.”

“I called Luxury Wood Company as I needed to ask a question. My query was dealt with in polite and helpful manner. I then placed my order online. The courier who made the delivery was also very helpful and my purchase was completed efficiently and without problems. “I've been using this company for years now. Delivery is usually quite quick and the wood is always good and burns well. I always get large pallets which are filled to overflowing. Excellent company and definitely recommended.”

“Wood is good, delivery was an ordeal - admittedly our drive is a little awkward being on a slope, but I won’t be ordering a large pallet again as we spent over an hour ferrying logs”

“Good product at the best price that I have found with great customer service. I have had many deliveries, only one of which was below par and for which I received a discount on submitting photos. Note that the courier is out of Luxury Wood Company's control (as for all others I have used) so stay in close touch. Prices do fluctuate a bit too often & I would like to see customer loyalty discounts but overall you are unlikely to be disappointed.”

“Bought a pallet of eco logs delivered by an excellent driver who was very helpful. Unfortunately The day after delivered some animal ripped the plastic wrapping on most of the logs and they are now a large pile of uncompressed sawdust. I put this comment here only to warn others that are switching from normal logs to eco logs to get them dry and secure as soon as they arrive.”
