“The reason for only acceptable is that ok the wood burns well and it was a fair deal with the add ons but the wood itself was nothing like the previous container which was clean and uniformly cut, this was very various sizes and looked very aged as it was very dark in colour and full of moss and general detritus. You may say well it’s only to burn but unloading it was a nightmare as it was windy and the dust etc was blowing in my eyes but worst of all is storing it in the house , pieces fall out all over the floor from basket to wood burner and constantly need vacuuming up!”

“This is the second delivery i have taken within the past 9 months and the wood is of of variable quality in terms of dampness - creating smoke and smells in the room. This appears a downward trend”

“2 star on this occasion. You have had just short of £750 from me for 3 pallets and this most recent one is a shocker. You must have found the smallest pieces of Oak and loaded them up for me!! Terrible pallet. Far too much competition around to stay with one who pulls this nonsense. Adobos.”

“A very good, reliable company for buying kiln-dried logs. Delivery communication is always good and the logs are perfect for my open fire. This last batch is Ash and it's burning beautifully.”

“The recent delivery of oak logs was so poor in size , the majority were no bigger than large twigs . Had the delivery was placed on my drive I had no option but to accept , I sent a photograph and a £30 refund was given , however with hindsight the quality should have been checked prior to shipment and the refund totally inadequate. Needless to say I will not be ordering again.”

“GREAT SERVICE AND VALUE,THE KILN DRIED WOOD IS ALWAYS MANAGEABLE SIZE AND IS REALLY EFFECTIVE IN A MODERN GLASS DOOR STOVE-no tar,burns to fine ash and is easy to clean away. WE BUY BIRCH,BUT MIGHT TRY AN ALTERNATIVE,any comments?”
