“The logs seem good. I chose the barrow bags and it worked well re storage. Very neat Small gripe was the 15 min notice that delivery was on its way. I needed to organise help to move from the pavement to the back of the house. Not as young as I was! I know it’s not luxury wood delivering and next time will add 24 hour notice request to my order. But overall great service great product. Thanks”

“Very disappointed with this year’s giant crate of oak logs. They were mainly cut from smaller trees and branches so there was an awful lot of thick bark surrounding the actual oak wood in the load. In addition, 70 to 80% of the bark was covered in green moss, despite being kiln-dried, so it took several hours to clean it all off with a wire brush. I store the logs in a lean-to shed outside so the moss would absorb the moisture in the air far quicker than the timber which defeats the object of paying a premium for kiln-dried logs. Sorry, not a happy customer this year.”

“Good sized logs and dry. Although these are a good product, the price is still quite high and I'm not so sure that it is good value for money considering I could have bough 500lts of oil for about the same price”

“The wood was fantastic, great service and delivery. The only constructive comment I would make is that since last year when it was perfect the size of the kindling has increased and in my opinion is too big. I got forty bags and all were the same.”

“The logs failed to arrive on three arranged days. I phoned pallex and informed them I could not accept delivery until October now and agreed a fourth delivery date. Pallex were informed I would not be home before and therefore unable to safely store the logs. The logs were then delivered on 14th Sept , a day during the period I am away. I then complained to you and today Sept 22nd Pallex collected the logs from my driveway my neighbour has informed me. So reimburse my Visa card or resupply a new batch in early October if you can stick to an arranged delivery day. Please note Vesi of luxury wood is dealing with this.”

“As ever the product was well-packed and the delivery man was excellent. Wood was very dry as usual. One small point, although it was a crate of Birch, there seemed to be quite a lot of Alder amongst it.”

“As always, excellent service from initial order to delivery. Brilliant product, I order a giant crate of logs and have tried a variety of types, they are all wonderful, seems a shame to burn the sweet smelling larch that I ordered this year. The delivery company compliments the product. Always polite ,flexible, friendly and helpful. Keep it up folks!”
