Third order I have received thought I would try oak again a bit disappointed with the product contains a lot of small logs cut from a decayed tree they are very light in weight and don't seem to burn very well . I think I will stick to the ash burns much better .

Great wood but delivered by large truck with only hand truck wouldn't come up drive had to had move all wood.

The reason for only acceptable is that ok the wood burns well and it was a fair deal with the add ons but the wood itself was nothing like the previous container which was clean and uniformly cut, this was very various sizes and looked very aged as it was very dark in colour and full of moss and general detritus. You may say well it’s only to burn but unloading it was a nightmare as it was windy and the dust etc was blowing in my eyes but worst of all is storing it in the house , pieces fall out all over the floor from basket to wood burner and constantly need vacuuming up!

Good quality dry wood, although the bags now contain less, so not as good value !!!

Despite email and phone call to office requesting a vehicle no bigger than 7.5 tonnes the pallet first arrived on 16 tonnes then next day on a small van and I had to handball off!!!!!!

The oak seems of reasonable quality. Have found it variable as far as burning is concerned, but Tha may be me getting used to setting the fire. When burning well it lasts well and provides balanced heat when not burning well seems to want to go out. I think I may need to clear Ash more often but my burner is designed to run on an ash bed and only be cleared every 4 or 5 weeks. A season burning will decide whether to burn again.

Delivery arrived 30 mins after I called and spoke to the Luxury wood company to find out when delivery would take place. During this call I was told it would be not for a couple of days. It arrived just as I was leaving for work and the driver had to drop it on drive and not in garage where needed. I then had to unload move and re stack whole pallet. I Have now started to burn wood and is is not to the standard of previous orders. Moisture content varies between 16 and 24 %. This is much higher than the 8 to 15 % range I have been used to. Would need re assurance of quality before I would place another order.

The quantity of logs has reduced from a year or 2 back, but price has gone up ....as is expected. The crate the logs are in was leaning badly and risks falling over and could kill someone. The driver told me he had had crates collapse and he had only worked there 4 weeks!

Extremely disappointed in the kiln dried Ash logs delivered when compared to previous supplies from other companies. The logs are difficult to keep alight and do not burn as readily or with the quality of flame that was promised. I will NOT be purchasing from this supplier again..

Normally the service from LWC is excellent. However the latest delivery from them has been disappointing. I'm not complaining about the time of delivery or it's manner of arrival, ditto the packaging. The logs - Alder - I believe, are of poor quality and certainly oversized for our small Stovax stove. They need an excessive amount of kindling and continuous tending to maintain a good fire despite having newly swept chimney at the start of Autumn. All in all not really a good advertisement for LWC.

The service was excellent, the moisture content of the wood was as described as was the create size (large pallet) I was disappoint with the diameter of the logs most being very small, all hidden in the centre of the pallet, I would guess 50% was not much larger than kindling. The oak logs all spat, which I was very surprised at (two holes in the carpet) having burnt kiln dried wood for some years this is the first time I have had any that spat. I would say the oak will be fine for a wood burner, which I haven't lit yet, but not good on our open fire.

It took more than 7 days to deliver with no intermediate contact until I phoned to enquire where the delivery was. However the delivery driver was excellent and did everything in his power to help drop the pallet in a convenient place.

Purchased full pallet of Hornbeam nets. Was disappointed at the quantity in the nets as having previously bought a full pallet of Ash in nets and can easily see the difference.

Although dry, almost all the bark came away from all of the logs which has not happened before, leaving us with a great deal of separate bark which we do not appreciate. The LWC say this is a good thing although it has not occurred with previous orders from LWC or any other company and that we should use the bark as kindling - we use the crate for that! I do not appreciate this and will therefore be returning to logs direct.

it was the third time we had the wood delivered by Luxury Wood Company and by comparison I would say that the quality has changed as the oak logs that we have received this time were of a smaller size that previously (shorter logs, narrower, smaller is dimensions), and definitely not packed carefully enough to fill up the whole crate that way that would maximise the space and give the best value for it. Therefore I do not think therefore that I will repeat my order next season and try another company instead.

Massive overpriced for what you get. I ordered same from another company and got well more in the bag and same quality. After sales was brilliant although I was left very short of what I wanted. Loads of white wood that I didn’t want. 2x price of other companies.

The wood is well dry, but about 10% of the logs are cut way too big to fit into our log burner. This is our third delivery from you so we now have quite a build up of unusable logs. We don't have the means to cut these, so for us this represents poor economy as we'll have to give them away to someone who is able to use them.

The only reason I gave this an 'Acceptable' rating was that when I opened up the packaging to erect the pergola, there were no instructions included contrary to what was assured on the website. The whole process therefore took a lot longer than if we had a clue what went where!
