“Logs arrived in a timely fashion. Communication by the company and the delivery agent was very good. The wood was so dry that the bark fell off it when the logs were lifted out of the crate - stacking the logs then became a little messy. A small niggle for me that probably wouldn't bother everyone.”

“the wood is great but the delivery driver didnt bother to ring the door bell and instead just left the crate on the drive near where i wanted it. If he rang the bell i could have shown him exactly where i wanted the crate”

“Good logs but appalling delivery arrangements. This company needs to seriously review this. We were kept around for two days awaiting delivery with no reliable status updates, the second time this has happened. Would be reluctant to use them again because of this...”

Dear Richard, We apologise for the negative experience you had with our subcontractor Pall-Ex. All depots are contracted to book-in delivery dates directly with the end receivers. If they fail to do so, you have the right to refuse delivery. We can always speak with Pall-ex on your behalf and assist with organising the delivery date. “The expensive wood ordered was support one oak and clearly most is not. The wood volume is also not as described and the external measurements of the crate are lower than the volume that should be measured internally. I will never order from this company again.”

“I’ve bought wood briquettes from the luxury wood company since 2017, ordering prob between 2-4 loads a year (full pallets every time). I think this shows how happy we have been with the company. From ordering, to delivery - it’s all been easy and has always been delivered very quickly - usually within a week. The quality of the logs are also great - they burn well and heat the house up beautifully. The only negative is the price, and I’m pretty sure everyone else’s costs have gone up as well but when I look back at the prices I was paying the price this September is £260 MORE expensive than February this year!!!!! How crazy is that!! In 2017 I could have got a pallet load for less than how much they’ve gone up in 7 months!”

“We have the netted logs which is easy for us to handle, way back in time it would seem the logs were a little bigger in diameter than what is supplied today still good quality though however it is becoming an expensive way to war the home, nice to look at but we think the central heating is the same in cost with less hassle”
