“Lovely ash logs very happy with them good quality will certainly order again. It’s a shame we couldn’t track the delivery it didn’t seem to work. The delivery driver very good very helpful”

“Luxury Wood are still offering competitive prices. This delivery went very smoothly and came quite quickly. However, many of the logs in my kiln dried ash crate are too big. They will kill off a log fire if not judiciously used making having a log fire harder work than is necessary.”

Hi Tim, We do try to provide the same standard but with a natural material as firewood that sometimes is harder than we expect. On the bright side the larger logs will give you a longer burning time.

“Overall very good, one small gripe though, the delivery company just turned up with no prior notice, we were out, so rather than miss the delivery we asked the driver to leave the full pallet on the drive, which he did. We then had to unload and restack the FULL pallet. Simple solution... demand that the delivery company provide the customer with notice of delivery. Other than that, no problem. Wood of a very good standard and comparable price so all good except delivery.”

Dear Charles, We have chased the subcontractor and done all the necessary steps so you can receive the order. Unfortunately we can not control everything in transportation and the depots are prone to mistakes. Your order has been located and put on a premium delivery service.

“Very good quality of wood, the only thing is that having a smaller log burner, quite a lot of the logs are too big so will have to spend a couple of hours with the axe. We have been using the Luxury wood comp for some time now and have always been pleased with the logs so it was noticeable this year that there were a lot more larger logs than we have had in the past. Overall very pleased and will continue to use them.”

“This is the second pallet of logs I have purchased the first was ash the quality was very good with good size logs I’ve ordered oak this time but I’ve found the size and quantity very disappointing lots of small second grade looking logs”

“Ordered large pallet of birch logs Arrived quickly, logs dry and burn very well. This is the first time we have used kiln dried wood rather than so called seasoned logs and the difference is very noticeable. Will order again next year.”
