“Have ordered from The Luxury Wood Company several times, and have always found them helpful, friendly, and efficient. This order was no exception. The quality of the product is always superb - and, since we live in the North of Scotland and have to pay a hefty haulage fee, you can take it from me this review is accurate! We're always kept informed of progress with our order, and, when there has been a problem with the carrier, The Luxury Wood Company has dealt with it extremely promptly. They're brilliant, utterly trustworthy, and thoroughly reliable. What more can I say?”

“First I must say that for many years the wood supplied which in my case is ash as been very good with a substantial diameter without being to large, however the last three orders the wood and in my case the nets contain thinner wood sections which burn though very quickly the recent order which was discounted was I am sorry to say is just the same with about 50% having thin bits of wood in the bags, very disappointed”

“Sadly, for the first time, the wood is not up to scratch. This time I went for the oak ( before I have had beech, birch and ash ) I know oak is slower burning but this has not been dried to the same extent - it merely smoulders and will go out unless paid a lot of attention. Previous wood has been fantastic.”

“no contact before arriving. every single log was in diferent shapes and sizes, i’ve ordered 100x100x2,400mm , and most of them was betwen 103x108mmm. also lots of cracks.”

Dear Mateusz, We always pre-advise delivery dates, ETA is sometimes possible depending on the driver and if the delivery is outside the offices working hours. There has been no complaint filed regarding your delivery. Please note we require all issues to be reported via email at support@luxurywood.co.uk The landscaping grade timber has imperfections as stated on our website.

“Great service as usual a good product. Well packed on pallet. Only issue this time was that it arrived 2 days post ordering with no notice from the driver. No one was in to take delivery so had to leave the office to come home. A minor hiccup”

“I have bought your logs for years and happy but the latest supply ( 2x 70 oak nets) are disappointing in comparison to previous logs. The size of each log is far smaller than before. Too many small pieces almost starting wood and even though my burner small do not last. A bigger burner would be a problem with these logs. Prices have also jumped and delivery now charged. I will now be considering another supplier which is a shame.”

“I've just received delivery of my second order of oak sleepers from The Luxury Wood Company and I am very pleased with the overall quality and value for money of my purchase. Why buy pressure treated softwood with a life span of about twenty years when for less money it is possible to purchase oak which will last for decades. Beware though, it is heavy! A couple of coats of Barrettine All In One Decking Oil and the jobs a good 'un as they say. I would recommend The Luxury Wood Company without hesitation.”

“The First consignment was sent in a 12.5 tonne truck which could not get up the driveway. The second attempt came in an 18 tonne truck which did manage to get up the driveway??? You figure it out. Also the nets contain too many small logs which are good for kindlers but burn too quickly. More bigger logs required.”

Dear Bernard, We have done everything possible to be able to deliver to you as you required. As advised we even used an extenal delivery company, paying all the extra charges, to make you happy, despite our kerbside policy that is clearly stated on our website.
