My last delivery was made possible only because I happened to be at home at the time. We do not get mobile signal in this village and the delivery man only made contact via my mobile and I didn’t receive the message he sent to say he was on his way! He did however, help me unload and stack my log bags for which I was extremely grateful. I was disappointed tho’ that it was obvious the pallet they arrived on had been out in the rain.......not good considering they were supposed to have all been kiln dried! Very pleased I had them over the last few days! Thanks.

Logs are logs to some extent, but there were too many filler pieces. As I have to unload every log, this is a pain in the neck. I ordered a full load and the pallet wasn't really up to the job. I 'had to' climb onto the deliver lorry to help the driver move the pallet to the tailgate and steady it to stop it toppling over. Packed well to keep the logs dry.

Delivery was great. Crate looked good until we unwrapped it a lot of the wood was only good to use as kindling certainly not luxury wood. Ordered Sunday had we waited until Monday we would have got it £10 cheaper. Will be going elsewhere next time.

Log shed is solid enough, however the fact that holes are only partially drilled makes it quite tricky to assemble. A bit of guess work is required when positioning sections. product was delivered on wrong day and left in wrong place, not entirely Luxury Wood Company's fault and they did respond well to my complaint, but good a delivery service is part of what one would expect.

Previous supplies of kiln dried ash logs were great..... but the 70 nets of kiln dried ash logs that we received last week were a big disappointment. For some reason the wood is difficult to light and reluctant to remain lit. It is almost as if the wood has not been dried properly although we have no means of confirming this. All in all, this single purchase has significantly damaged our confidence in your products. Big shame !

The wood order was exactly as described however delivery was difficult. Date provided for delivery and we arranged to take time off work to accept. Delivery time between 9am and 5pm. At 5.15pm called delivery company who apologised but they were not able to deliver and we should have been contacted. Delivery re-scheduled for Monday. It snowed we lost phone/internet and mobile signal only in one part of the house!!!! Advised luxury wood co that we were ONLY contactable by email and please would a further re-schedule of delivery be arranged. After a few emails back and fore because contact was being attempted by phone, delivery was eventually re-arranged between 9-12pm. The wood arrived at 4.15pm. Luckily my husband was home who had to help get the pallet off the lorry and out of the middle of our shared driveway. If my husband hadn’t helped, the delivery was going to be returned to the depot. As a result of the delivery problems I would not feel comfortable using Luxury Wood Company again. Luxury Wood Company did pop some freebies to apologise for the delivery problems which was lovely but there is no way I could have helped the delivery driver extract nor move the pallet.

Lot of small pieces, this is our second order, the first also had a lot of what I would classify as kindling. We assumed that we were unlucky with the first load, two strikes and you are out. The logs where delivered on a lorry with a maximum tailgate load of 500kg, the logs weighed 600kg. We had to help to manually off load a minimum of 100kg. Just not good enough.

Nicely packed dry wood but too much is closer to kindling than logs. Having used other suppliers in the past, I don’t think I will return as a customer as this does not meet my requirements for logs

Wood very good, however delivery far from satisfactory, forced to help offload 70 bags from lorry by hand as the pallet was last on the lorry and the driver couldn’t reverse the pallet off. Not sure I’d order again even though the wood was top quality.

The delivery man was not interested in doing more than what was required of him on paper. After persuasion and saying I'd help, he agree to move the pellet into the garage from the curb, which was no more than 5 yards. It would've been helpful to move it about a foot further in but he deliberately pushed the button and lowered the pellet the moment I asked for that. He made it very clear that he wasn't very happy about doing the extra 5 yards than needed. Perhaps the company could arrange for pellets to be placed where it's convenient for customers if it's on reasonably flat surfaces and no more than 10 yards or something. With regard to the wood, there were a lot more smaller sized logs than I'd expected. I haven't got another company to compare with, being new to buying kiln-dried logs. But I do hope this isn't the best we can get on the market in terms of service and quality.

Ordered full pallet which was delivered as stated. Only downside was the amount of small logs (split them in half and you can use them for kindling) that was in the pallet. I was expecting a full pallet of near same sized logs.

Quality product as described the only issue was there was no notification of delivery until driver called and left a message saying he would be there in ten minutes. I was at work and had to scramble to make arrangements to receive the delivery.

Thought i would try The Luxury Wood Company as the advertising photo of oak looked good as i normally have ash. The wood came on time but found lots of small logs in it but good value for your money .

We usually have the Ash or Oak logs from you but decided to give the beech a go. They light and burn very well but the sizing is a bit odd. there are an awful lot of very small logs, that I have been using as kindling! Then there are some massive logs that are a bit to big for our burner and we have had to take the axe to them. Perhaps I will go back to the ash next time.
