The free Ypres coin advertised on the TV seems to be a con. Payment card not accepted seems you arr just gathering payment card data.

My father, who has vascular dementia and Alzheimers, was sent a number of items by this company, with each one being returned accompanied by a request to remove his name and address from their mailing list because of his illness. Last one he received was accompanied by a letter threatening legal action unless he paid up. I have contacted them, initially by phone, but then by email (including the front page of the LPA for my father) and Facebook, but to no avail. The only response was that the customer service department was overwhelmed with enquiries about the latest issue of a particular coin, but they were dealing with my request. That was a couple of weeks ago, and there has been nothing since. Judging by many of the reviews, this company would appear to be wholly focussed on making profits, and not interested in the slightest in proper customer service.

Terrible customer service. One of the coins sent to me was scratched. When I eventually got through on the phone I had a man who was quite rude on the other end of the phone. I received a letter regarding the coin but no returns form. Later received a replacement coin but the wrong one. It is a nightmare trying to get through to the call centre. Will never order anything from London Mint again.

A horrible company, trick you into subscribing to coins you never planned to buy and put the onus on you to try to return them. What a sad way to do business. I hope this review stops just 1 person from falling into their trap.

After requesting one of the postage only coins, I decided against it after reading less than favourable reviews. To their credit they replied to the e-mail and agreed not to send this or any other products. Have a guess, It duly arrived and now after hours of on hold calls and ignored e-mails, I eventually got a response....If you want a response, dial the 'Order Line' and surprise surprise they answer within seconds. Still awaiting the postage return label they promised though......Awful company, really worthless and not as described products.

I ordered the Falklands conflict book on 21st June. I have still not received it, I've been ringing & been told various dates it's going to be despatched, I've now been told it was despatched last week, it's not arrived, & after spending ages on the phone today they told me it's due to Royal Mail and it could take another 6 weeks to arrive. The man also asked me was I interested in ordering anything else whilst I was on the line. They must be joking absolute terrible service, will never order anything from them again.

Terrible 'after care' customer service. Sales Team, obviously, brilliant, however, when wrong details sent (database protection query unresolved too) it was impossible to reach out to someone who would be able to help. Try calling their phone lines ! It takes an eternity which, I waited over an hour yesterday and had to give up. I am desperately trying to close my account but as this is no longer a "sales" matter, the company do not care !

I ordered a Battle of Ypres coin as I wanted to put it on the grave of a relative who died after a gas attack in April 1915, but after reading on-line reviews about the service and practices of this mob, I cancelled and received an e-mail telling me my 'reservation' was cancelled, but they still sent the item and now ignore e-mails regarding it's return. Awful company p**spoor service!

I ordered the free coin, advertised on the tv and in magazines. They took the money from me, but I haven't received the coin. They asked me to write a review on the coin and there service. When I told them I still hadn't received the coin, they said they would look into it. 3 weeks later I still have no coin and nothing from them to say what is happening.

Firstly I applied for the free coins they sometimes advertise on the TV. When it comes I have an invoice for £12.90. I ring them they say it's because it's come in a presentation pack that I didn't order so I write a cheque and am about to post it the next day when another coin turns up behind the door. I immediately get on the phone to them and they agree to send out a returns lable for me to send the other coin back and said for the inconvenience they would waver the price of the presentation pack and I'd just pay £2.50 delivery, so I paid over the phone and that was that.. Well today I've got a reminder to pay this £12.90 for the coin that's already been posted back, I'm currently on the phone to them and have been for the past 13 minutes.. It sounds like I'm in for a long wait! Fuming Never buying anything off them again

Ordered a Churchill coin online and then the following month more money was debited to find they'd signed me up to a monthly coin which was severely overpriced. No reply via email so I had to phone. I never agreed to this but was told there was a small disclaimer stating they would follow up each month with a coin which would be debited from my account each month. Not happy. Won't use again.

Saw the WW1 coin on the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/londonmintoffice/ coin was a bit of a while ariving but they were helpful when I called for an update and explained there was a bit of a delay. Prety happy with the service

I've recently received 2 of the free coins from the London Mint Office. I was a little hesitant as they required a subscription but I was able to easily cancel this by contacting their friendly customer service team. Would highly recommend!
