“You have provided quotes, as well as as one small delivery, throughout the winter period. Your supply price was the very cheapest available and some independent suppliers were charging £50 more for 500 liters. During the present (late February to early March) seasonally cold weather some "discount" clubs (including Boiler Juice) have "been unable to quote for delivery to my post code for 10 days due to high demand. The Heating Oil Club have continued to provide a quote and also offered a delivery date (albeit extended). Finally, I have been appalled by the lack of regulation within the domestic heating fuel market and, having paid around £180 for 500 litres in July 2017 I was quoted £310 for 500 litres in early March by one discount club. The "worst" Heating Oil Club price during the cold spell was £250 for 500 litres. So far then I have found the Heating Oil Club consistent with price and availability of oil and feel that they provide the very best service.”

“The price was good, but I couldn't have the tank filled as I had requested - and as it said on the website I could. The delivery was a day late, and there was noone there to monitor - the delivery company told the club that it had been delivered on the 13th, but it was on the 14th (as per the delivery slip) So, I may use the club again due to the price, but certainly not for the convenience.”

Occasionally not everything goes tom plan, some orders were running a little late at that time due to very high order volumes, bad weather etc. which is also why they could not offer top up at that time. Thanks for the review though, its appreciated. Mark.

This is a strange and seemingly unnecessary review Robert. The order was placed on February 26th, we were very busy and emailed you an anticipated delivery date on March 12th, our suppliers delivered on March 12th. That is two weeks after the order was placed so how can we possibly have been two weeks late? You also never contacted us so why would we have responded? Please contact me via the club website if you'd like to discuss this further. Mark.
