“I phoned several suppliers and price quoted by The Oil Club was the best saving around £40 on 1000 litres . Order accepted and delivery date given. Oil delivered on day promised. All in all an excellent service. Why 4 star not 5 star? From order to delivery took 10 working days which could be a problem if running low. Will I use the Oil Club again you bet I will!!”

Hi John, thanks for your comments which are excellent. On the 10 days delivery, it's fair to say that at this time of year the standard deliveries can take longer depending on how busy the suppliers are but if people have specific hardships we always pull the stops out! “Great price, a fair bit cheaper than anyone else on the internet including my local consortium. They were attentive to my request to avoid certain dates for delivery, relaying this to the supplier. Unfortunately the chosen supplier ignored the request and turned up while I was out, falsely trying to blame the club for not telling them - but this was soon corrected by the club's admin team and redelivery on a convenient date and time was arranged. Will definitely use them again.”

Thanks for responding, it is only by listening to our members that we can improve our service. In fairness, I think we answered all questions along the way, which were numerous. The supplier didn't contact before delivery as requested and we have asked for tighter controls on those actions. There was a shortfall in delivery of 1 litre but the driver really felt that any more put into the tank might cause a safety issue. A refund was processed for that 40p. Please try us again and we will get things right, as we do for thousands of other members. Mark.

“usually we spend time phoning around to get prices but this time we did both we tried the heating oil club and phoning around and the oil club came out the best 4p a litre cheaper than any that we phoned it was easy to order and easy to pay and they came on the promised day so no complaints at all will be using them again”
