“This was my first dealing with the club. It was a positive experience except for one fact. The appointed delivery date was missed and was a day late. Although there was no 'emergency need' on my part, although it was coming up to the Easter holiday. I emailed the club to tell them about the non-delivery and had a courteous reply from you telling me the matter would be investigated. The next day I had a further polite email telling me that it would arrive on that day. It did... and was delivered by a man who shut and bolted a gate that he had opened. I am very likely to deal with you again... assuming that the price is right!”

“As a first time user of the oil club I found the ordering system very efficient and easy to use. However having been given a date by which our oil would arrive it failed to do so without any explanation or revised date. After chasing this up I was repeated told it was out for delivery and would be delivered that day when this was clearly not the case. There seemed to be a total breakdown in communication between the supplier and the oil club. Eventually the oil arrived 5 days late.”

“Whilst I am very satisfied with the Heating Oil Club I was disappointed with the service of the WP Fuels, i.e. the fuel company's driver who delivered my order. I Emailed the company on the 21 March and 5 days later I still have not had a reply. I attach my remarks having edited our personal details I have just had a delivery of home use heating oil which was placed with you by "The heating Oil Club" I had made it clear when the order was placed that delivery of the oil was easier and better done if the tanker was on the main road. The reason for this is that my tank is perhaps 2 or 3 metres from the road. Your man chose to ignore that advice and chose to attempt delivery from the short lane outside my house which meant the distance between the tanker and the tank is now a good 45 metres, The delivery pipe was literally just inches long enough and was with difficulty just fitted into the tank. Though I said several times that filling was easier off the main road, he would not accept this advice as he reckoned the road was too busy and he or his vehicle could cause and obstruction or he himself get hurt. My tank has been in its present situation now for a good 30 years and oil deliveries have always been done off the main road. Whilst I am not criticising the driver I do feel he could have accepted my advice and made life easier for us both.”

“Service was excellent from the oil club. However the actual oil company did mess us around a bit. They text to say delivery would be a certain day then did not turn up . Had to call them 2 days later to ask why etc. Was informed that the driver had to go home sick, which is fair enough, however a phone call or message would have been nice !”

I was contacted by Mark, who was very helpful & worked out how I could manage the change over. A very good personal service. I intend continuing with the Heating Oil Club, it does all I ask of it, with the personal touch when needed.”
