“Nobody confirmed delivery time and date. Oil was delivered at 7.40a.m. and they didn't even ring the bell! Received a text at 6p.m. that day informing me of delivery, which was over 10 hours after I received it. Not very impressed.”

“Very helpful support from THOC when my supplier ignored my advice initially to use a small tanker owing to limited access. Quick response to emails. Price very competitive. cf Boiler Juice wanted £40 more and a longer delivery time. 5 Star!”

“Prompt service, and Mark got in touch as soon as he found out that the oil delivery would be delayed because of a technical hitch concerning the suppliers. I have used the heating oil club since moving to this property ( first time we've had oil heating ), and I can see no reason to switch! Good to get regular updates via email, if nothing else as a reminder to check the level in the tank from time to time”

“Excellent service, I didn't read small print re requesting a call from supplier about actual delivery date and delivery time having to go on the special request form, we were tied in waiting, with a 2day window date and as the driver needed us to be at premises to access tank this was frustrating, but our mistake, we will do so next time, cheaper than everyone else, pleasant driver, Easy trustworthy no hassle service we will use again with confidence”

“I did get the oil O.K. but there were two small points:- 1) I did not get a phone call before delivery which might have been very useful as delivery came on the wednesday, not Thursday. Luckily, I was at home. 2) A bill came from Butler Fuels in addition tothe payment that was on my card statement!!! I did notice that there was a note on it to say to ignore it if payment had already been arranged but it could be an unpleasant shock to some people.”

“On this occasion The Heating Oil Club offered a better price than any I could find by phone suppliers directly. The delivery came on the appointed day. It would be helpful to have some notification of when the oil will be delivered, e.g. an email the previous day to say whether it would be in the morning or the afternoon.”
