Hi Gary, We haven't had any notification from yourself regarding an issue with these handles, if we had been notified then we could have had our stock checked and then replacements sent out to you. You can still send the faulty ones back to us and we can check our stock against these should you wish for these to be changed. We urge all of our customers that if they have an issue with any part of our service or products is to contact us first in order for us to rectify the problem when it arises. I purchased handles for my new kitchen when they arrived the handles were fine but the screws they supplied were too small! When I contacted them all they said is they can sell me bigger ones! Poor customer service. I won’t purchase anything from you again.

Dear Sally, We are pleased that are happy with your new handles, However, your statement of "the screws they supplied were too small" is really unfair to say, as on each and every product page, we state what size of screw comes with each handle, and in the majority of cases this is 25mm in length, which would have been supplied with the products you ordered. We have also checked that there is no email from you, or any notification on your order that another size of screw is needed, as you will appreciate The Handle Studio has no way of knowing what the thickness is of the door/drawer you are fitting the handles too. Unfortunately when you contacted us you would have to have had placed a new order for the screws needed and this would be liable for a cost applied to you. We have multiple places for customer to click on around the website that would take to the fixings page, and from there you could have selected the size required. We are always striving to go above and beyond with our customer service and our reviews reflect this in a positive manner. Regards, The Handle Studio.

Disappointed that you have accused me of not packaging my returns correctly as I only opened 1 of the sealed knobs , wrapped it and put it in single plastic bag and back into the foam packed box . The knob that I opened was not marked as your photo that you sent me .

Good morning, Amy We check these cabinet knobs when they come in from the supplier, so there isn't any possibility that they would have been sent to you in this condition. We have no record of you reporting any damage to the cabinet knob when you opened it, so can only surmise that the damage occurred before you repacked it, or the screw was placed on top of the cabinet knob when you repacked it. Delivery was extremely poor and I ended up having to collect from a shop in the end despite leaving instructions for a sale place and my partner being home!! Phoned company and was basically told tough we don’t care. Won’t be using them again. Product isn’t actually theirs so easily sourced from better supplier.

Good afternoon, Ian While we encourage and welcome customer reviews regarding our products and the service they have received, we feel in this case that your review is rather unfair. DPD had attempted on two occasions to delivery your order, but their attempts failed. They requested further information from us regarding the delivery, which is why I called you to ask if there was another address to deliver to, or if there was a safe place I could put down on your shipment. Once a parcel has left us we have little control over it, but we will always do our upmost to try and solve any issue that happens like we did in your case. You told me that on the first occasion your wife was at home but on a conference call, so couldn’t answer the door. Following that you said that she had left a note pinned to the door asking for the delivery driver to leave in a certain place. If the request to deliver to a safe place is not on the DPD driver’s handset they will not deliver. That is their company policy. I asked you if you would like me to have your order sent to a pick-up shop which you agreed. You went on to say that you wouldn’t be buying off us again if we continued to use DPD as our courier, not because our service failed in any way. If I had not called you, your order would have been returned to us and you would have incurred a reconsign fee of £10 which would have been deducted from any refund. We do our utmost to make sure our customers receive their order and prevent fees being incurred, so in your review you stated "tough we don't care" is totally misleading and quite frankly untrue. TERRIBLE - Late Delivery and Charged for Missing Items Ordered handles on 4th April for next day delivery. Received a delivery confirmation which deceitfully stated that I had signed for the handles - I hadn't and they eventually arrived around 20 days later! Notified The Handle Studio that the delivery hadn't arrived, they said I had to wait for 6 days for DPD to investigate, 6 days came and went and The Handle Studio didnt get back to me. We were supposed to get the handles on a next day delivery! When the delivery did eventually arrive, it had an handle missing! I was told that if I wanted them to replace the missing handle FOC I would either need to wait for them to complete another 'investigation' or pay for another handle and delivery fees! I paid as I felt I was being held to ransome as the kitchen fitter was on site and we needed the handle. I appreciate that things don't always go to plan but this company is just not interested in doing the right thing for the customer. They've had your money and thats that. I reluctantly agreed to pay another £2.49 for the missing handle and £6.48 for delivery. When I said I wasn't happy with the service, I was told 'there's no need to be like that'. They don't appear to like any feedback to improve there service. Terrible service and I was made to feel as if I was complaining unecessaril,y despite being promised all of the handles on a next day delivery. No apology was forthcoming and I will not be using this company again. Avoid if possible unless you enjoy being messed around and paying twice for something.

Dear Colleen, Your order was despatched the day after your order was placed on the website. We don’t offer next day delivery on our orders and nowhere on our website does it say that we do, however, 99% of the time DPD will deliver a customer’s order the following working day. Once an order leaves us, we have no control over the behaviour of the courier when delivering an order. In this instance it was evident that the delivery driver was non-compliant in that he had left the parcel on top of a bin. DPD were informed of this and said they would investigate. Generally, this investigation is completed within 6 days. I have spoken to DPD today following your aggressive phone call and the conclusion they have made is that they cannot determine what happened to the order, as when the driver returned, no parcel was evident in the location he had left it. You informed me that you now had your order and that it was left at your property by a neighbour whilst you were away on holiday. The 20 days late you refer to is incorrect, as you say you were on holiday. Once you received it on your return from holiday, you did not call us to state that you were now in receipt of it and thank us for the time taken to look into this for you. With regards to a handle missing from your order. We take any report of missing items extremely seriously, and you were informed that we have procedures we are required to follow to determine if the order was not complete. These procedures are overseen by Trading Standards, of which we get periodic inspections for. I did let you know that this check would be completed within half an hour, to which you responded that you cannot wait for our checks to be completed and you would buy another handle. As explained, if it were found that after our checks are completed that we have indeed sent you one less handle than you ordered, another handle would be sent out to you today. The decision to buy another handle was yours and as such the delivery charge was liable. We have carried out our checks and you will have had a hand-written figure on the top of your sales invoice of 3680. This is the weight of your order in grams before packaging. Our recreated order has shown the same figure, and our stock is correct. Therefore, we would have informed you that we would not be sending another handle. If, on the other hand our checks had shown that we did not send you the full amount, we would have reimbursed you for the handle you went on to purchase. Good morning, Sue As you are aware, Royal Mail was contacted following your phone call, alerting us to the fact that they had delivered to an incorrect address. We, at The Handle Studio did not have any idea that this had happened, as once the package has left us, it is in royal mails hands. You were notified that they were going to try and retrieve the package and re-deliver it to the correct address. We received an update from Royal Mail late yesterday afternoon saying the following: "We have had a response from the delivery office manager and they have advised the following The delivery officer will try and recover today and redeliver to the correct address." We believe that your review is unfair as we shipped to the address provided and your package was despatched within 24 hours of your order. The issue with the delay in you receiving your package was with Royal Mail and not The Handle Studio. Kind Regards The Handle Studio

Even though I told you an item was missing you seem to insist otherwise, so therefore I have used another company to purchase the right amount of items that I need. A CUSTOMER LOST FOR GOOD.

Hi Domenico, As with every order we process, we have set procedure's we follow when picking/packing orders, when you had notified us that you were a handle short/missing, your order was recreated in the same way as the original and a weight is recorded of the set number of handles, which is hand written on the top of your receipt, we also keep the said weight in our internal records too. On top of this our stock was also checked, you would have been given all this information at the time and this time all our findings was deemed to be correct that you have received the full order you placed. They send you the wrong qty I bought 20 of an item and 16 of another item. I informed after 2 days of receiving the goods. I reported ONE missing. They refused my claim on their impeccable process based on weight etc. Well how do you know if what they weigh is true when they arrive to you? Furthermore Are you supposed to weigh the package? I understood if it was 3/4 or more missing. Bad customer service and a lot to learn!

Hi Bruno, We have processes in place when every order gets picked and packed to stop any discrepancies on our side as well as the customers. We weigh every order before and after it gets packed for dispatch and these figures are recorded for future use. Your order would have been recreated to determine the weight before any packing has taken place and we have found that at the time of packing and also the total weight recorded with our courier, We also do a stock check to be sure that all is correct before contacting the customer. Your order was correct so we can only assume that this missing item is on your side. We have first-class customer service as you will see with the reviews we have, but in your case, you haven't had the result you wanted hence the 1-star review when the facts have been presented to you.
