Hi David, thank you so much for leaving us a review. Customer feedback is invaluable for us to perfect our service, so I can't thank you enough for giving us this opportunity. I've just done a little research into your order to see what happened, and where things might be improvable for your next order. I can see that you placed your order at 4.35pm on Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately this was a tad too late in the day to make our UPS collection that day. Generally we advise that orders placed before about 1pm or 2pm can still go out same day. I can see we packaged your order as a priority first thing the morning after, and that it was all labelled up ready for UPS to collect at 9.40am on Friday morning. We booked it on a next working day service, and I can see it was delivered that next working day at 3:12pm on Monday. Unfortunately, you've gotten a bit unlucky in that the weekend has fallen in between your dispatch and delivery date. Unless, I am missing something and the UPS delivery info is incorrect and you did not receive the item on Monday. If that is the case, please let us know and we will investigate with UPS for you. Please note, if in future you need a delivery super urgently, we do offer weekend delivery services, timed AM or PM services, and in some areas same day delivery. If you email us, call us, or message us via the live chat function on our website, we are always happy to help you when you really need something delivered quickly. “easy to use the website and order was despatched the same day - wonderful service - reason why this isnt full marks is that the chosen courier UPS- was slow and inefficient with delivery- said they were going to deliver one day and then didnt do it and had to wait over saturday and sunday for the item to arrive.”

It's especially useful to us when we hear about anything that doesn't go perfectly, so we can improve things for the next customer, so for this we are truly thankful. Just having a look at the details of your parcel with UPS. I can see you order was placed at 4.41pm on a Thursday, and that we created the UPS label at 5.04pm that same day. Whilst most of our UPS deliveries arrive the next working day, because of how late in the day we booked the label, UPS weren't able to pick it up until the next day, on Friday. I can see the parcel was then delivered to you on Monday morning at 8.57am. I think in this particular case, and as a note for next time, if ordering on a Thursday in particular, ordering earlier in the day will give us a much better chance of getting the parcel to you before the weekend. Failing that, we do also offer the option of a weekend delivery with UPS, but this does come with an extra charge. It might be worth it though if you need something urgently for a shoot, so keep it in mind and give us a call on 02078375649 if ever you need this service. If you need anything else in future, we're always happy to help. I can't thank you enough for ordering with TFC, and for providing us such useful feedback. We are always on the look out for the best courier for our customers in terms of delivery speed vs price, so your feedback is invaluable to us as we continually review our options. “Bought a battery for my Canon camera, which was at a great price. I got delivery for free, as I signed up to their newsletter. However, the total price would not have been nearly as competitive if taking into account The Flash Centre's normal delivery charge, which appears to be twice as much as a lot of their competitors?”

It's great to hear that you took advantage of our delivery promotion and picked up free UPS delivery as well as the battery for a great price! Please don't forget, all orders over £150 come with free delivery by standard, and there is no limit to the number of email addresses you can sign up to our newsletter for the free delivery coupon! So, if you don't want to pay for delivery ever again, there are ways around it. For the small-ish number of our customers who do pay for delivery, we only ever use a fully tracked, fully insured UPS service. That definitely comes with a price premium, but for photographers with deadlines, we hope it's also provides them the quick delivery they need with peace of mind. Thanks again for your feedback.
