Cruise mgr Marc was great Maitre ‘D and chef from Bulgaria where The worst . This is Lyon capitol of gastronomy More reviews to come from ny wife save your money do Viking instead . We had better meals on the chobe river just hopping the trip to Egypt and Israel be better

Been booking our Cruises for the last 18 years with Cruise Specialists staff Stuart & Jackie had no problems at all if any they have been brilliant recommend them always

After receiving a very aggressive and threatening email on the 1.8.22 (Despite multiple balance reminders, we have yet to receive the balance of your forthcoming cruise. As the cancellation charges are due to rise soon, and in order to avoid you becoming liable for these higher costs, should we not have received your balance by close of business on Monday 8th August we will have no alternative but to cancel your cruise at loss of deposit.) We will not be booking with the Cruise Specialist again. We have booked at least 30 cruises with the Cruise Specialist but this email was uncalled for as we have never been late paying for a cruise and only received 1 email from the cruise specialist and this was more than 12 weeks before we were due to go on our cruise that we had already paid in full the remainder was for flights and drinks package that we had booked after our original booking. We do not know who sent the email as it only said after sales.

Dear Helen, We were very alarmed to read your review, and certainly would not want anyone to feel threatened as that would never be our intention. After some investigation, I can see that a member of our After Sales Team did immediately email to apologise, and we would like to reiterate this apology to you now. I do see that the email was sent to you due to the balance not being received by the due date of the 25th of July 2022. Once we pass the due date to us and approach a week before cancellation charges are due to rise, we do have a duty to make our customers aware of our procedures, and we do need to give plenty of notice to allow our customers time should they wish to amend. We always value feedback, whether it be positive or negative to allow us to grow, and we do hope this goes some way to explaining the reasoning behind the email. We will take your feedback on board and revisit the wording of our emails.

This has to be a 5 star rating so far. Tried calling other cruise companies no reply or in a queue. Set up a meeting with Tui waste of time. Rang The Cruise Specialists. To my surprise the phone was answered almost immediately spoke to Stuart knew exactly what I wanted Stuart was very knowledgeable explained everything to me in clear terms. This cruise was to mark a special occasion for my whole family, I now feel confident things will go well. Definitely back to this company for future cruises. Peter

Kirsten Pritchard books all our cruise holidays. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she always gets us a good deal. She goes above and beyond to help with anything. I always recommend her and the cruise specialists and would never go anywhere else.

I was very traumatised by the lack of humanity shown by Port staff in Corfu. I was left alone in a field with the gate locked behind me for over an hour whilst waiting for a taxi to return me to the airport. The taxi fare was 30 Euros as they sent a 12 seater and then it cost me a further £130 for a flight home the following up afternoon. That meant I had been traveling and waiting to travel back for over 28 hours with no sleep. It was pitch black and very frightening to be abandoned in a foreign country. I was refused entry onto the cruise ship as I didn't have a piece of paper to state my vaccination status and at 2.30 in the morning (after being delayed for more than 4 and a half hours) there was no way of contacting NHS. I had paid £25 the day previously to have an antigen test which was negative. We always knew that we were cutting it fine to get to the cruise on time and were promised a welcome drink and buffet on arrival. I wasn't even offered a glass of water and was hyperventilating and shouted at when they knew I was negative and when there could have been a chance to confirm my NHS status once on board. There would be a public outcry if this happened to a foreign traveller in the UK. However on my return Stacey Kennedy immediately understood my distress and acted swiftly and professionally in ensuring I have a replacement cruise to look forward to in May 2023. Not only will I be going on a new cruise but I will be refunded the difference in price. I can't thank Stacey enough for restoring my faith in human nature and wish her all the best in her future career as she is an asset to the company.

Stacey Kennedy has recently helped make some bucket list dreams come true for me and my husband. She put together a fabulous package for us including stays in Canada, a two day trip on the Rocky Mountaineer and an Alaskan cruise. Despite my many queries and changes to hotels she always remains cheerful, patient and above all helpful. She is a credit to The Cruise Specialists and I hope she can help us with many more trips in the coming months and years. Thank you for everything Stacey

THE TOTAL LOYALITY GIVEN TO US, WHATEVER I ASKED FOR IT WAS EXPLAINED AND DEALT WITH WHEN POSSIBLE. NEIL ADAMSON WAS SO VERY UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENT WITH ME (TECHNICAL MINDED NO) HE BECAME A SAVIOUR BECAUSE I WAS SO CLOSE TO NEVER GOING CRUISING AGAIN. HE MADE LIFE SO MUCH EASIER COMPANIES MUST REALISE NOT ALL OF US ARE ALTOGTHER WITH THE MODERN WAY OF NOT SPEAKING TO ANYONE BUT PRESS BUTTONS. THIS HAS GOT TO CHANGE. WITHOUT THE LIKES OF NEIL P&O BETTER TAKE HEED.

Just had confirmation from Aileen re a change of balcony in a stateroom on P&O’s Iona which had the change not been effected we would have had a balcony which looked onto the ships promenade deck, giving passengers on the ship the opportunity to look in on us when sunbathing, so I cannot thank Aileen enough for her prompt action and her great customer care and service, 10/10. I wanted to make sure that all my questions were answered via email before making a decision, as in the past I opted for telephone and kept being given information I did not want. However, this experience has been the best where Aileen Munro answered all my questions and offered suggestions which has lead to my 60th birthday being the best I could ever wish for. That's when I called Aileen and told her that I would go ahead with the booking as she covered everything.

I was walked through all the various options and was given lots of helpful information about the cabin types and their locations on the various decks. After speaking with Stuart I felt happy that I’d definitely booked the right cruise and received my paperwork very promptly.
