“The Alpaca Clothing Co. Were extremely helpful and understanding when I accidently gave them the wrong delivery address. The scarf I purchased is of excellent quality. Delivery was fast and efficient. I would highly recommend The Alpaca Clothing Co, and I look forward to shopping with them in the future.”

“Easy to use website, nice products, good communication and fast delivery. However, the slippers and socks I bought were poorly packaged (squashed into what looks like a second hand plastic bag). These items are not cheep and at the least should have been put in an unused bag though a box should also be used for items like slippers to ensure that they arrive in good condition (not squashed) in the future.”

Hello Janet My name is Katie I work with the alpaca clothing co team. I have just read the negative review you left for us on our review site. If I could just have a chance to explain, You placed the order on Thursday 11th December in the evening, your order was processed and shipped the very next day with the greatest of care. I have tracked your order for you and they did try to deliver to you on Saturday, sadly you were out so the courier could not deliver ! The courier we use is DPD, they will have contacted by text with a time for delivery, with the added option of changing the date/time if it was not convenient for you. Today I have checked the status of your order and I can see it was delivered on Sunday 14 Dec. I am sorry you are dissatisfied, but I feel neither we or the courier could do any more. Our reviews are very important for us, it is disappointing for us under these circumstances to get a negative review.

“Received my order next day. Thought it was brilliant. Was a bit confused when I got a txt from G & S Timber to say my delivery was on its way. I'd never heard of them and really thought I'd been scammed. I loved the picture of the Pom Pom scarf I ordered. It looked big and chunky. When I received it, although it is beautiful, I did think it was a lot smaller and less chunky. I was going to phone to see if I could get a chunkier one made? I will be keeping it as I do love it. But if you could make a chunkier one I would prefer it?”

“This is the second time I have bought from the Alpaca company, I would not hesitate to recommend to my friends. I have purchased ladies Alpaca slippers as Christmas presents, fabulous, I wish someone would buy me a pair! Within 2 hours of placing the order I received a text to say when they would be delivered, hey ho the parcel arrived bang on time. If you are looking for gifts that are unusual, value for money, first class delivery service then look no further than this web site.”

“I wanted a specific shirt so telephoned having not seen it advertised on the website. The lady I spoke to could not have been more helpful. She went upstairs to check and came back to report with great sorrow that the item I wanted was not in stock. However the other item which I was looking at was available. I completed this transaction on the website very quickly. Delivery (at no extra charge) was the next working day. Well done. I also love my new trousers.”

“This order and purchase (of an Alpaca Scarf), was very swift and easy, the scarf arrived this afternoon - via Parcel Force in a big red van - perhaps a bit ott for such a small, lightweight item ! Nevetheless the prompt delivery is very much appreciated. I like this so much I think I will order another for myself and perhaps also one as a gift. Alpaca items are an absolute delight to wear, non-itchy, and feel lovely. I look forward to hearing more from the Alpaca Clothing Co. Thanks again. Diana Sissons”
