“Really informational course. I also think having access to the course materials to refer to when you're teaching will be a great help. Not had a chance to put my skills into practice yet, but I think I'll do well when I do. Basic advice: there is a lot to read and learn. you'll benefit from this course.”

“I truly enjoyed doing my course on TEFL UK. The site is very easy to use the test pages work perfectly, and I could complete the entire course from the comfort of my couch. The information learned in the 150hr Advanced certificate has already been helpful. I would recommend anyone who would like to get this qualification in their own time, to definitely try this course.”

“I enjoyed my Tefl UK course. It was very detailed. I enjoyed the video presentations. Having left school a long time ago I realised I needed a lot more time to review certain aspects! Reminding myself even the basics was fun! Being fluent in my language is different to understanding it well and teaching it to others. If I could suggest one feedback idea it would be to have links set up throughout the lesson. Sometimes I would struggle understanding something, such as the tenses. I often found I had to do further research, only to find it explained further in the course. A link to more information further in the course material would be helpful, or a list words explained. I have a job teaching English on line now, so thank you.”

“TEFL UK was a great resource for learning about teaching English as a foreign language. The online 120 hour course modules were easy to follow along with and I learned so much from them. I also completed a 20 hour practicum in addition to the 120 hour online course and this was very convenient as well because it allowed me to get some experience utilizing the skills I learned about in the online course. It was also very convenient for me because I was still attending college, but I was able to tutor a student over Skype to complete the practicum which worked perfectly with my busy schedule. Overall, my TEFL UK experience was great and I'm happy I got involved with this TEFL resource.”

“The customer service was excellent. I had a query and due to the messaging option on the screen I could ask really easily and the response was impressively quick. The resources were easy to use and the use of videos was really helpful to see a real life example is of a class. Would recommend this service to anyone!”

“It’s a really cheap way to get the qualification you’re looking for. However, I found that most of the content was relatively dull due to bad presentation, which at times made it hard to focus on and get through. It is just a wall of text on each page, and I think it would have benefitted from a mixture of text, video tutorials of the material (not just videos example lessons), images like flowcharts, etc. Also, for a U.K. based TEFL provider it felt like it was written by an American at times. Still, while I haven’t had the experience of another TEFL a company to compare it to, I’d say it was decent enough to earn the certificate I was looking for.”

“This course is well laid out, and easy to follow. It sets you up well for online teaching. I would suggest that if you are totally new to teaching this would not be enough of an intro as there are no practical hours, but if you have some background and want to get a qualification to teach online it will do the trick. I am still waiting for my physical certificate which I cost £25 at the end of the course. I guess this could be due to lockdown though. They do give you a digital certificate at the end of the course which you can print at home and the online teaching companies accept.”

Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic and the current lock down here in the UK, we are currently unable to access the printing facilities but shall mail the hard copy of your certificate to you as soon as the restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so which should be in a week or so. Usually, our students receive their hard copy within 5 working days. Thank you for your patience during these difficult and unprecedented times and stay safe.

“As a newcomer to the field of English teaching, I found the course a good foundation for my new career. I still have a lot to learn but found the extra lesson planning module very useful. An extra grammar module can be considered.”
