“I had a grader name Finoa that really made me feel reassure about me having to submit certain assignments over and over and because of them I was able to finish this course strong.”

“Hi, As a non-native English speaker my personal experience in carrying out the 120 hours Premium course has been gratifying. The way the course is structured makes future tutors or teachers very well-guided. Videos are really good when it comes to simulating what is a wrong-performed lesson for the student to compare to a good delivered lesson. Both teachers and students do very well. So I highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking for starting in this field.”

“I was pleased with the feedback from the tutors, they we very much appreciate. I feel that the presentation of example lessons were not as clear as they could have been because at times the written information on the white board was either poorly written or faint. I would have liked more graphs & resources available on within the courses as some of the information to be retained for the quizzes was on occasions a bit too detailed to remember off the bat. However I found the information interesting and the quizzes fun to do. Kindest regards Enikoe”

“Very good course, much better than I had hoped for, in fact. Very easy to follow, better quality than others I had looked at before signing up for this one. The Online teahcer for the intensive wekkend course was amazing too.. Feedback from tutors was very detailed and useful. Thank you all!”

“Dear Allan, Thank you for taking an interest. I’m thankful for a given possibility to study and get the Certificate! Your team worked very well during my learning, giving timely replies and providing necessary assignments review. However, I’m a bit disappointed now considering that everywhere I apply for the job I receive the same reply: ‘Native speakers are needed’. It is sad because no one emphasized that obstacle before and during the study. If I apply for platforms for non-native speakers, I see the half price to be paid for the same job. Some websites even don’t reply when I message them, probably because again they need just native speakers. Maybe I’m searching in the wrong places? And that’s frustrating. I see you help Ukrainian people to start studying English, but what about teachers from Ukraine with TEFL Certificates? That’s how it is. I hope it will improve soon. Kind regards, Yuliia Kohut”

We certainly have students from all over the world, who are not native-level English speakers, who go an to teach English successfully all over the world. If you reach out to the team at jobs@tefl.org I am sure they will offer advice on this. We do not offer English courses I'm afraid, so I am unsure where you found the information. As a TEFL course provider we offer TEFL qualifications and help around becoming a TEFL teacher. Thanks again for your feedback and all the best with your TEFL career!

“Excellent training, both online and especially in-person (for the 2-day course). Course assignments are reasonably challenging, but the mentors in particular provided really useful feedback to help me improve my work. Good customer service whenever I had an issue, and the pricing is reasonable though can add up if you request multiple extensions to a course. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a high-quality TEFL course and qualification.”

“Hi, thank you for your email. For my own personal opinion: there was a couple of exams that I would have liked to have had some more space for words as 600 I felt was not enough and I found that I had to delete a lot of relevant work. This information was then asked from my teacher in the correction. Working with children and how to discipline children was not clearly shown (as was relevant to me) and some example video classes with children would have been helpful. Especially on how to discipline children and how to organize children from different age groups while managing the whole class. For the end of the phone call section, a live phone call would have been helpful to get a full experience. All in all I found the course very easy to follow, well-structured and the fact that I had a chance to redo my exams and get feedback from my teacher via email, very helpful and well worth the time and the money I paid. Thank you.”

“Full of Fantastic content and useful life skills such as how to give clear instructions, how to give feedback and how to understand and teach intonation in language. These skills are not just useful for teaching English language but are imperative for a successful life in general. I would highly recommend this course to family and friends. Since completing I have already been to work in Amsterdam to teach a theatre workshop to youngsters with Autism and complex needs.”

“I did the 198hr level 5 course. I thought every module was very thorough and the end of module quizzes gave you the chance to self-correct and learn. My tutor support was excellent and assignments came back marked quickly with detailed and relevant feedback. I needed some extra support to start the course and after speaking with TEFL advisers this was arranged for me. I really enjoyed the 30hr Virtual Classroom course and gained confidence from delivering my lesson plans to the class. Overall the course was challenging for me after a long break from studying and a change of career direction but ultimately rewarding and I feel ready to start teaching.”
