“Overall - very good, but the course quality varies. I did the Online Teaching Practice advanced course, and it was not very high quality. The tutor was great, but the administration and content of the course was not. My groupmates seemed like they were very new to teaching, even though the course required participants to have completed a 120 hour TEFL, assuming they passed the teaching practice, too. I ended up not learning much because they were beginner teachers and the feedback was catered to them. The methods introduced were simple PPP and receptive skills lesson structures, which are some of the first topics covered in TEFL. I would suggest screening participants by either interviewing them or asking for their certificates, as it is unfair on people who have had experience teaching to have to sit through basics.”

“I loved this course! I felt the videos were informative and relevant to the material that I was being taught in that moment. The teachers in the videos were enthusiastic and helpful. I also enjoyed the quizzes and assignments, they really help me remember the material. I also really enjoyed the class room examples those helped me a lot of the written assignments. This was an amazing experience and I feel prepared to teach in the my desired country! Thank you so much for all of your help and helping me achieve my goals! 10/10 course and would highly recommend.”

“I have taken the 120 hour course and the 30 hourTeaching Young Learners course and I have to say that it is exactly what I needed. Truly perfect courses that prepared me for TEFL. I plan on taking other courses here.”

“The course was easy to access and navigate, and great that you get a good length of time to complete if you have other commitments. My tutor was fantastic at marking my work quickly and returning it with useful constructive feedback and tips for lesson planning/activities that could be used in real situations. Certificate arrived within an hour of completion and it's great that they provide a job board as well as other resources to help with your new chosen career, especially if you are in a new country without a lot of support. Thanks.”

“I did the 120-hour TEFL and truly enjoyed the Grammar and Methodology courses. The material is presented clearly, it is thorough, and the assignments are marked swiftly, with relevant feedback. The other courses were interesting, just not as relevant to me, but valuable tips can be gleaned from any teaching situation, in my opinion. Absolutely great value, thanks! (FYI, as an experienced teacher, with time on her hands - whilst relocating to the UK - it took me 2 months to complete.)”

“Extremely supportive tutor and excellent course layout. Any issues or questions I had were immediately dealt with in a professional manner. Even though it was a distance learning experience, I always felt there was a support network around me. I would highly recommend this course to anyone thinking of taking this route into teaching. “I had so much fun completing this course. Everything was explained so well, each module was very creative with all the quizzes and assignments. My tutor Denise was so helpful throughout. I didn't think I would be able to complete it and pass as I don't have any teaching background but I surprised myself and this course really helped me gain so much knowledge. Thank you TEFL.org. I can know start my teaching career :D”

“This course is very informative and well structured. I have learnt a lot. There are many assignments and quizzes. I passed all assignments without any problems but I have to admit it's necessary to pay attention to the content of the course and to the videos. I always did a bit of research before submitting my assignments. There's always a feedback. It took me 5~6 weeks to finish this course but I was very consistent with it. 6 months is more than enough. This course is really engaging, and require you to think about how would you do a lesson. I have received my certificate quite quickly (it was sent to me by post).”

“I absolutely loved the course. I mostly read the transcripts, instead of watching the videos with people talking. I liked the classroom videos. Very helpful. I'm scared to start teaching, but I have my notes, and know I have the skills I need.”
