“Very easy to follow, anyone can do it, you can do it in your own time at your own pace, no pressure to complete it quickly and your tutor gets back to you very fast! I found the feedback very informative and helpful, made it easier for me to complete my assignments. I really enjoyed this course, would highly recommended to anyone who wants to travel, or teach at home as it’s very flexible.”

“I truly loved the experience, however I feel that it could be better if you higher-up the grammar level and if there was any chance that we could show a demo of real English classes and you correct us. Thanks a lot”

“I enjoyed the course and learned a lot. I guess it helped that I am a teacher already so lesson plans weren't a new thing! Good to be reminded of things and to get to grips with the grammar. It would have been good to see larger classes being taught, not just 6 students as this is unrealistic for those of us who have a class of 15-20. Seeing how the teacher organised and listened to them all would have been good. The assignment marking was efficient and the quizzes ensured you had read and understood. I was glad I could get through at my own pace, and not have to wait for others to catch up, which is the advantage of online learning. I would recommend your courses to others. Thank Thomas for his marking!”

“Loved the course! When we did our 20-hour pre-teach course with Richard we learnt a lot in a short space of time big props to him, he is a fantastic teacher and helped consolidate our understanding of what the course was to entail. Big thank you to Joanna, her advice and criticism were constructive in helping me follow the TEFL way. The course layout was well structured and interesting, but it needs updating to a more modern approach- I'm sure much has been learned since 2017. I'm not sure if the videos where someone's voice narrates a block of text before introducing a topic are necessary. Maybe something else could go there? On the whole, the resources are very good, with lots of games and activities which fit the PPP and ESA models. I would recommend this course.”

“I just finished and passed my Tefl certificate. I really enjoyed the structure of the course and the suggestions provided at the beginning. My tutor always marked my work on time and when I asked for explanations about the marking, I was satisfied with the answers. I particularly appreciated the videos of a specific teacher (brunette with a very strong Scottish accent), the way she uses the gestures/body language during the lessons has been, and is, very useful to me. I highly recommend this course.”

“Lessons and Modules were informative and easy to understand. Quizzes and assignments were well designed to check for comprehension and assignment feedback was prompt and detailed as well as supportive. I have left the course feeling confident that I could successfully instruct English learners and feel well equipped with the knowledge base and skills to successfully manage a classroom and teach a variety of learners.”

“The material taught in the course is very valuable and I have learned many things while taking this course. However, my interactions with my mentor were very annoying. Every time I submitted an assignment to be graded, I would see a pop-up message that said something along the lines of "Your assignment will be graded within 48 hours excluding bank holidays." This was rarely the case. Not only did my mentor fail to grade multiple assignments within 48 hours, but it felt like they would wait until the 48th hour to START grading even the smallest assignments. I finished the great majority of the content of the course within one week and spent TWO WEEKS just waiting on my mentor for days on end. I wanted to get this certification done before an application deadline, but I only got this certification several hours AFTER the submission deadline because this mentor took almost FOUR DAYS to grade my final assignments (and there were ZERO bank holidays). To sum up this course experience: The actual course was great! My mentor was HORRIBLE.”

“I found the course to be very helpful in my journey to teach English. I enjoyed how it provided guidance on how to teach English in a number of settings. The fact that I could complete the course at my own pace was hugely beneficial to me and I found that I could manage my own time very effectively because of this. However, I grew frustrated with my tutor for not providing very effective feedback and just providing examples on how to rewrite specific sections of one of my assignments, rather than telling me how I can improve.”
