“Training available for most needs. Excellent value. Understandably your courses are for TEFL. However EAL tutors in uk schools are always looking for suitable training for new arrivals and new to English over here especially in how to assess English language and home language proficiency with an assessment framework and suitable assessments. We need to know at what level our EAL students are working. There appears to be a gap here. There is an assessment framework with the Bell foundation and some available assessments pieced together from different sources but none properly standardised to consider for schools. Just a thought!”

“I am so happy to have stumbled upon TEFL.org. I took the 168-hour course because TEFL.org was highly recommended. I am absolutely stunned that my methods before the training were so archaic. I feel a lot more confident and have the skills required to perform and be more of an asset to the industry. “It's a good course. I bought the 120 hours TEFL course - they have 50-60% discount promo (but only for courses) that kicks in immediately once the previous discount expires - essentially it's always priced 50% of the "current price", and admittedly it gives 6 months to complete it. I could not complete it in 6 months due to severe issues irl, so I opted to buy an extension. Which costs $70. For a month-long extension. The course itself is ~265 USD. Having a long completion time is not an excuse to skin people alive with an insanely overpriced extension. Similarly, having this written in your Terms of Service, is, again, not an excuse to skin people alive. I'm in the middle of the course so it's either losing the course and progress or paying up. I paid their ransom, I'm not a happy customer. Thank you, TEFL.org”

“I found the TEFL course to be rewarding and an appropriate challenge. Online content was well-structured, and the feedback provided my assigned tutor was both prompt and very useful when providing feedback for coursework. The in-person course was also interesting, and provided good introductions to the class concepts and actual practice at conducting lessons. Overall, I was impressed by the TEFL course and its organisation, and would like to thank my tutor for their efforts in feedback for my work.”

“Very enjoyable and informative course. Teachers were professional and engaging and provided excellent resources and demonstration videos, covering all types of teaching content in so much detail that is easy to understand. Everything was structured and delivered so well. Activities, quizzes and assignments are so helpful along with the classroom videos that were fun to watch. Tutors are very nice and give good and helpful feedback for assignments. This course made me more confident to teach English in many different ways and provided clever and interesting teaching methods to deliver good lessons. I strongly recommend this course and want to thank you so much for teaching me, I had a great time! :)”

“I loved the 120 hour TEFL course I just completed. I went in knowing basically nothing about teaching English as a Foreign Language and I walked away with so much knowledge and so many skills. I am very confident that I will be able to be a good teacher based on all that I learned. It was a wonderful experience and I will highly recommend it to other people who may be interested in learning to teach English. I will also probably take more courses in the future, like Teaching Young Learners, in order to be better prepared. Thank you for creating a wonderful course!!”

“This is an excellent course; I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone interesting in TEFL. I found it very enjoyable, interesting and challenging. The course is well structured and organised and the tutors are fantastic. The classroom videos were extremely helpful in showing how the theory translates in practice. The virtual weekend course was also excellent for bringing together all the elements and practicing lesson planning. I feel confident that the course has provided a solid foundation and the required skills to begin teaching.”

“overall I am very satisfied with the course I have some doubts only about resources. The course included recommendations for books with grammar It would be very helpful with tips on books with the content of the lessons, new topics, words, etc.”

“I found the course useful given that I haven't learned any of this since school. I would have preferred to have do the course in person. At times the content felt a little repetitive. But I enjoyed it nevertheless. Thanks”

“The courses had helpful information, but the Telephone course is outdated due to the pandemic (maybe call it Remote Teaching?). There wasn't much student interaction, I'd love to meet the others in my cohort or have there be a way to all come together. Also, the responses after grading an assignment were a bit generic, although I understand he probably has many students. Overall, I'm very happy with TEFL.org and would do it all over again!”

We are still finding many people around the world don't have easy access to the internet or still use Skype etc. We try to make sure that our courses cover this so that teachers have the tools to provide English lessons to everyone, no matter where they are in the world. “As a former elementary school teacher, I would give the TEFL program a grade of "A." The most pertinent issues of the teaching process are covered in the program regarding helping the students do their best and get the most out of the lessons. Teaching can be very fulfilling and being a TEFL teacher comes with the perk of learning about other cultures all around the world. I would recommend this program to anyone.”
