“A well-organised online course; the Methodology module is particularly useful and interesting. Homework and tests can be quite challenging, which is a good sign as you can't pass it "anyhow". You need to be verified, so Tefl Org is definitely not a dodgy provider. The course content has really put my mind in the right direction in terms of the lesson planning. I have done a lot of independent research to collect materials and gather ideas. The course is designed around one very specific teaching style, which might take some getting used to, but I can see the reasoning behind it. The only improvement I would want is an easier opportunity for communication with the supervisor. Perhaps, an assessment of verbal communication skills of the teacher can be a good idea, too. For example, "record a video of yourself doing ..." or a virtual meeting with a supervisor.”

“It was very useful. It sets us up well to prepare a class online with different tools also. I am going to practice to make it habitual. Angie was very good at guiding us through. One thing that could have helped, at least for me personally, is to have us get used to Zoom as a host as a pre course requirement. Angie gave told me to follow a tutorial on YouTube. I know now what I must do and will practice with another student. Thanks, great course!”

“I do appreciate the efforts of the tutors, who invested time and energy to correspond. In my opinion, the written assignments need improvement and revision. In general, the directions are a bit vague and overall, subsequent assessments are highly subjective. It takes considerable time to request clarification and even with that, the time lag in gaining feedback and resubmitting do not support a rewarding experience. As for a recommendation, that would depend upon an individual's needs. I have enjoyed over ten year's experience in classroom teaching: In my case, I needed the certification to satisfy prospective employers. I can't claim to know what potential distinctions may exist among various organizations who offer the certification. This course took far longer than anticipated, primarily due to the written assignments, which I felt were too subjective in the initial directions and especially the subsequent assessments. It became more of an effort to understand and clarify what an individual tutor desired. I hope this limited feedback may prove benificial.”

“I can speak for myself, doing the course was incredibly enriching in many aspects, in terms of grammar, methodology and much more.
