“The overall experience with TEFL has been really good, especially the really useful feedback from my tutor, Alex, on my various assignment submissions. The feedback and the assignments helps to build your teaching portfolio before you've even started being a teacher! The course was easily manageable alongside my part-time role. The last star could be gained with some newer videos and making sure that the final tenses in the Grammar module are taught with more care. For example, the future perfect (simple) units mention how it's a difficult tense, but then such a short amount of time is dedicated towards it. Maybe that's the balance that needs to be managed with the course being 'just' 120hrs and because this tense isn't used all that often, but I still felt more confused on that particular tense than I would have liked.”

“Overall I enjoyed the journey of learning 120 hours TEFL. As working as a part-time professional, I broke down the hours to fit my schedule and made sure that I would learn and apply the knowledge from the course. I liked the most quiz and assignments. If anything, I would like to suggest that some videos could be animated or up-to- date. I would recommend this course to family or friend as it helped me secure a job as online English tutor once I completed it.”

“I think the 200-hour Online Level 5 Course is great. Here are few thoughts for improvement: - Including tips on teaching dyslexic students - I have read that some employers would like potential candidates to have both a teaching certificate AND a certificate in English fluency. I intend to be my own employer, but for those seeking employment, I wonder if this certificate will suffice. I mean, how can one possibly passthos course without mastering English?”

“Good day I can honestly say I really enjoyed doing this course. At some stages I actually got hooked and I could not stop. However the last task for the Methodology I found really challenging. Would recommend this course to anyone that is looking to do a TFL course. Now I just need to find a job!!!!”

“Really fantastic groundwork to get started on the path to teaching English as a secondary language. The course is well structured, allows you to learn at your own pace, and puts things into perspective. Prior to this course I did not realize how much planning goes into teaching, my eyes have been widely opened up. Can't wait to put this certificate to use.”

“I loved the overall experience and materials, but my tutor was awful! She would send back an assignment with cryptic feedback and sometimes without even reading it because the changes asked where made! She was almost never available via email or reply very late, and never provided work for not helpful comments. Horrible.”

“I have loved my experience on both the online and in classroom experience courses. I have found the online course fascinating and use it on a daily basis to inform my normal classroom teaching, as I am currently a high school science teacher. The classroom weekend was very full on but built my confidence as I was worried about how I would cope teaching a different subject to my own. I look forward to interacting more with the organisation as I start preparing to change my direction into the world of TEFL”

“The course was helpful and I really enjoyed the fact that I could study at my own pace. The assignments were challenging and really important elements of my learning process. My tutor was encouraging and supportive; she gave me valuable and informative feedbacks. It was a great experience to see how teaching method had changed and how effective and fun it could be with imagination and creativity. The modules were well structured and efficient. I have completed the 120 -hour premier course but.. already started another one (I think I got addicted to TEFL courses :D ).”

“I did a 220 hour Level 5 diploma with TEFL.org and it has been a brilliant learning experience. My tutors were very helpful and provided lots of informative feedback where needed. The course was laid out very clearly and each section was explained very well and was easy to understand. The assessments were also suitably challenging and really forced me to think deeply about what I was doing, so that was helpful as well. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to pursue a job or career in teaching English :)”

“The whole course was very understandable. I recall only one grammar lesson that I had to figure out further on my own to be able to pass the quiz and from a bit of searching I noticed I wasn't the only one. Otherwise, the classroom demos were good, my tutor was amazing and really helpful. I'm already considering getting another course to further my skills.”

“A thorough and comprehensive course. The various modules all provide different elements of learning with the regular quizzes testing the knowledge learned and the assignments testing the application of that knowledge. I found that the feedback that my tutor gave on the completed assignments was very helpful in reinforcing the TEFL method of teaching.”

“The course was very thorough and very challenging at some points but overall I really enjoyed it and am very proud to have passed and looking forward to using it in Italy. The only thing I didn't like was the the one and only time I contacted my tutor to help with an assignment because I didn't understand something his response was "the instructions are there, I don't see what there is to not understand." I was like wow. I replied that I would just figure it out myself. He replied saying that if I needed him again that he would be happy to help but I never needed him again and even if I had I wouldn't have contacted him. I did manage to figure it out and I did pass the course so I'm very happy with that.”
