“You should try and get recognized with the national education system so teachers can claim the certification as professional experience. TEFL certification should count as professional development, but your organization does not appear on their list of partners who count. Therefore 120 hours of education time do not count toward professional development which allows a professional to renew their certification. Seems like a waste of time. One must have a relationship with their government to participate in self-governance.”

“It’s all on line you wait 48 hours for a reply to your work. There is 2 days only face to face. . If you don’t have a teaching background you may struggle. I found it very solitary and did not enjoy it. I struggled with some of it mainly unit 12. After doing this course I realise I do not like online learning and although I “passed” it means nothing in the bigger picture of confidently teaching English. I think improvement can be made with more face to face teaching every 8 weeks at an additional cost. If this were available I would have done it”

“I took a 120-hour course and I can say with certainty that it was a great decision. The course is easy to follow and you have more than enough time to finish it. The lessons are fun and engaging and watching all those real-life classroom videos really made me feel like I have a good understanding on how to prepare a lesson and teach a class. The tests and assignments are a great way to summarize what was learned and the mentors were extremly helpful and gave me amazing ideas for my practice. All in all, I give TEFL Org a 10/10 and I will definitely enroll in some of their more specialized courses in the future.”

“I'm very pleased with the course. It was challenging at times, I'm not a native English speaker and had to take in a lot. Also, in my very personal opinion, some of the assignments weren't so relevant to prove the ability to teach, and the word count made it difficult to express all I wanted. Overall, it was great! I've learned A LOT. The tutors were very helpful and patient, and the course gave me ideas and resources that I have already started using with my students (kids and adults). It has made a HUGE difference. Thank you so much for the hard work you have done, putting all those videos and real-life scenarios (lessons) together. That was crucial. I recommend it 100%.”

“Had a lovely time doing my course on teaching Business English. Even when I didn't manage my time properly near the end and ran into some trouble, the staff were very friendly and helpful and I was able to pass with no problems. “I found the TEFL 200 hour level 5 to be very well organized and professional. As I was mostly accessing the course with limited bandwidth, I was required to download the videos ahead of time and while on WIFI. It would have been helpful if there had been an option to mass download all of the videos in each of the modules without having to go into each page and individually download. However, this is a small issue that is probably semi-unique to my situation. Also, it would have been good to have had more information on 121 online teaching. Overall, a very thorough and challenging course, thank you.”

“Overall, the course was benificial and well balanced. Ironically, i found some typos in the lessons. I felt like it was very informative and productive except for the Lesson 2 Methodology PPP assignmet, which I found that to be very confusing and not well presented. Othere than that the experience was positive and educational in every way.”

“The 50% discount timer on the landing page, which keeps resetting makes the site seem a bit suspicious. However, past that, I was generally impressed. The course material is easy to follow, which comes in handy for a self-study course, while tutor feedback is timely and always helpful.”

“I thought the course was well-presented, well-organised and used good material. I would have welcomed doing more lesson preparation towards the end of the online course, though there was opportunity to have a go during the three day classroom course, which I chose to do after I had completed the online element; with hindsight, I think I might have done better to do the classroom course before completing the online methodology.”
