“I took the 120-hour TEFL course. The course was easy to follow and complete, contents were useful and my tutor's feedback was helpful. There were little mistakes in the transcripts, but everything else was very accurate and user-friendly. I appreciated the possibility to download the course at the end of each module. The certificate was issued immediately after completion. I am very satisfied, I was able to take a certification in a short time with little money.”

“I learned a lot and had plenty of help from the tutors. The tutors were super friendly, very understanding and amazingly helpful. My only critique is the questions for written/text assignments were a bit vague in what they wanted us to do. Some of the questions for written/text assignments wanted a very specific answer.”

“I learned a lot in a very short amount of time. I can see major improvement in my knowledge of teaching since before I took the course, and I feel like I am at least moderately prepared for any teaching situation from now on. Feedback from tutors was especially helpful because I made lots of mistakes that I otherwise would not have considered.”

“As someone without any experience teaching, I think that what the course has to offer is a good start. The material isn't demanding but does require focus and attention, making it a good option for people who have time constraints. My tutor gave meaningful feedback and did his best to ensure that I understood the content within each module. Quizzes are pretty easy, but feel too lenient. Assignments, on the other hand, test one's understanding of the material and are easily the most difficult part of the entire program. I enjoyed the challenge though, as they forced me to find creative solutions while adhering to the practices that are taught throughout each module. Overall, I think that The TEFL.org is a good place to start one's TEFL journey if they have no experience and want to gain an understanding of how theory is incorporated.”

“I enjoyed the course because it was straightforward reading and easy peasy listening to the instructor videos. I was so happy to pass the quizzes which were not all that challenging and the assignments, which were thought provoking but made me confident to the end to realize, 'I got this!' I would say that it's a good idea to listen carefully to the lessons taught by teachers in the videos. I learnt a lot by watching their instruction, how they managed lesson time with activities, pair work, etc. On the downside, I do think that the videos need some updating because the voices of the students are not very clear at times. Many times I couldn't understand students' responses. Also, if that was a real classroom, it definitely needs upgrading because it was an eyesore! I got tired of watching the lessons in that bland learning environment! Update it please! Anyway, on the upside, the course pushes us to use our imagination and to discipline ourselves to understand first and then to do the brain workout to prove our potential. I'm so glad I made the decision to take the course. After completing it, I want to continue with studying more of the English Language. Thank you so much Tefl.org!”
