“Overall I thought it was well laid-out. My feedback is that for the video segments, sometimes I found it distracting that the speakers were clearly reading off a teleprompter and they made it far too obvious. Also on the whole, all of the video classroom demonstrations were of a very high level of english language learners. In practice, the teaching I've done to language learners has been to speakers that are far more beginner. This rendered a lot of the TEFL activities challenging for me to replicate and I wish there was more content on how to communicate in VERY simple English to increase learners' chances at understanding. For reference, I'm currently teaching in Japan, and I have to use a lot of Japanese in the classroom to run games because otherwise the other teacher and the students won't know what's happening.”

“Great course! It includes the tools to start your TEFL journey in the best way. I took the 120hr course which allowed me to learn and understand many aspects that involve teaching English. Very well structured, and developed with videos, quizzes, readings, and assignments to build up on your knowledge and improve your skills as a teacher. Highly recommended! “My experience with TEFL.Org was a amazing and much better than expected. I started off unsure and uneasy with everything but as time went on I grew more and more confident. There was plenty of information that I knew as a native English speaker but also some that was new to me. The various techniques, resources, and classroom video examples were very helpful to have me think and learn ways to implement different ideas. “I thought the course was very thorough and more interesting than I thought it would be. My tutor was nice and very helpful. I had to redo two assignments- one because I didn’t have a free enough production exercise- and another one because of the homework on the telephone teaching course. I enjoyed doing the quizzes. Maybe you could recommend some books- particularly about phonetics. And go into more about how to gauge someone’s level before you start teaching them. I thought the course was good value for money and would consider doing another course with tefl. It may be better if you gave us the learning agreement at the start of the course. Thank you.
