“The course was effective and the technology worked well. My live instructor was very responsive to grading my assignments and provided me valuable feedback. One of the most effective parts of the course was when the instructors were modeling teaching Spanish. I thought that there should be more like that since it gives an English native speaker a taste of what it's like to hear an intructor explain a foreign language in THAT language.”

“My experience with TEFL Org was wonderful. I found the study method very effective, accessible to anyone and suitable for work/personal commitments. The various activities and materials made available were very interesting and useful in training me as a teacher of this methodology. All the videos showing lesson examples were extremely useful for observing the teaching method and for getting inspiration for the future. Doing assignments related to what I was studying and receiving feedback from a professional tutor allowed me to consolidate my knowledge and to put into practice what I was learning. Overall I am very satisfied.”

“Really enjoyed the relevant content, practical examples and pacing. I thought there could be a higher balance of mulitple choice tests rather than True/False tests to encourage the learner to challenge their understanding of the content better. But overall, a great course”

“Doesn't prepare you to manage a real class, doesn't teach/verify that you have enough English to be an ESL teacher, paying money to do blanket assignments in order to get a certificate that will lend you credibility as a teacher - that seems to be it. I worry for the 'tutors' who are obliged to correct everything in 48 hours.”

“I started this course in September and in today's digital age I was amazed by the detailing involved in every module of the course. As a teacher myself I know that online teaching is not the same as physical classroom but TEFL modules the teaching methodology and examples, assignments, quizzes everything took me back to my school days when I was learning English grammar. I thoroughly enjoyed it and big big thanks to Thomas my tutor who supported and advised me throughout all the assignments with his encouraging feedbacks. I am glad that I chose TEFL.org for my certification. I can't wait to be a part of the teaching community in the global platform across the world where I intened to travel and teach English. “I have enjoyed this course and, even though I’d been teaching in the UK for two decades, learned a lot from it about grammar and new ideas for teaching classes. If I have a criticism, sometimes tutor feedback was a little confusing and I wasn’t entirely sure what to do. Also, some of the way the assessment questions are phrased is ambiguous. However, I got there in the end and I’ve got my 200 Hour Diploma so I’m very happy! Thank you TEFL.”
