“I would like the course to be longer, I would like more advanced courses please. I would also like the window to put in the assignments to be bigger, as it is much too small to see what you have written. Firstly from an accessibility point of view, and to make it neat, it's virtually impossible. I do it in Word then I copy and paste but even then it's difficult. I would like more resources and I would like more examples please.”

“The course itself was great. But it was very clear that my instructor would always reject the first draft of an assignment no matter what and accept the second draft no matter what. My first draft would be sent back sometimes with real criticisms and sometimes with incredibly trivial ones. The only second draft that was rejected was rejected purely for being too long, despite the only thing I added was the instructor's feedback to add. I learned if the instructor asked for a lot to be added to the first draft, I had to erase random words in my assignment so things like "The teacher should circulate and listen to the conversations" to "Teacher circulates and listens." Near the end I tested to see if my assignments were even being read on the second draft. I omitted a required section and asked a question to the instructor in its place. The assignment was approved with no feedback. In short, your instructors are not actually doing their jobs in reviewing the assignments. I don't know if they are supposed to request I send them assignments to their emails before submitting either but my instructor requested it. Seemed like it was circumventing supervision.”

“I took the TEFL Level 5 course (230 hours). Overall, it's a good course. The graded quizzes were doable, but some of the written assignments were of inconsistent difficulty from unit to unit. Unfortunately, the tutor's feedback didn't always help me improve some of my work. Indeed, I was told several times in a row that "when analysing, include possible issues". When I asked which chapter I should reread or which videos I should watch again, the tutor simply gave me the answer to the assignment. The classroom course was very good and the tutor was very professional and dynamic.”

“I studied the 200-hour course and enjoyed the whole experience. The information was informative and the way of teaching was varied which made the course more interesting. My tutor Arthur was great, he provided great feedback for the assignments and in detail which helped a lot. Overall fantastic course”

“Overall the course was very well laid out and the feedback I received from tutors (mostly Dee) was really helpful. There were some quizzes though where I felt like the information hadn’t actually been mentioned in previous slides so it took a couple of tries to get them right. Other than that I thought it was a great course.”

“It was certainly an enriching experience for me. I learned a lot. The courses are divided very nicely, and they are very useful. I particularly enjoyed the grammar program a lot. The large classes module though, at least for me, was very boring and it was something that I'm not interested in. I think that is something you rarely see, at least in my country you are never going to find language lessons taught in a large class or in an auditorium. The feedback I have to say about my online tutor is that they were often a little unpolite when giving feedback. They also were not very good at conveying what they wanted from me when it came to written assignments. They returned a few of my assignments, and most of the times I didn't understand what it was that was requested from me in order to pass it. That delayed my progress a lot. Thankfully in the end I managed to finish my certification without having to purchase an extension for the deadline.”

“On the whole very good. Good summations of the materials. Only criticism would be the videos of classes, they are very difficult to hear. Also the sequence of modules for my online teaching courses was sometimes confusingand repetitive”

“Seems to be very efficient and helpful. Very quick response and its great to be able to start immediately you pay . I found it helpful to have both video and transcript and to be able to download the course. It would perhaps be useful to have the facility to "pause" the course , perhaps for a maximum number of days ....to enable completing alongside work etc commitments.”
