“The 120 hour TEFL course was fantastic! It covered a massive range of topics and I particularly responded to how realistic it was about things I may encounter as a teacher in the world, e.g. lack of resources, large class sizes etc. In preparing future teachers for these eventualities, it empowers us to control the learning environment for our students and use it to our advantage. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone wanting to introduce themselves to the world of TEFL and build their teaching skills.”

“I really enjoyed this program. I loved that it was self-paced and the tutor gave me helpful feedback on my assignments. My only complaint is some of the quizzes were a bit redundant and didn’t really seem to ask questions that helped verify understanding of that section. However, that was only a few of the quizzes. Overall, great! I also love that TEFL Org is easy to navigate and makes it easy to find job opportunities.”

“I enjoyed the course and learned a lot. It was in easy to manage units and the time frame was very achievable. The only thing missing was how to teach students with no previous English knowledge.”

“The course content was relevant to my learning goals. I particularly enjoyed the teaching methods, the online classes were very engaging. Great assessment methods including the type of assignments and quizzes. “The course was great. I really appreciated what I learned. I hadn't been to school in many years but this was very helpful. However, I would have to say my tutor was not very helpful with her feedback. All she would say was this is incorrect please try again. Some of the assignments the wording was a little hard to understand and I had to practically beg her please give me an example because I don't understand. Other then that the course was very informative.”

“I think for what its worth, this course teaches you a lot about what you need to know about teaching English abroad. My only issue is that the information is a little outdated. The videos appear to be from 2013, which is not long ago to cover what is needed for today's teaching environments. But it also misses the implications of teaching in a post-covid and AI technological world. These have impacts to pedagogy worldwide.”

“I thought this course was very informative and I liked the mixture of activities and assignments. I found my tutor's feedback to be very helpful and insightful. To improve the course I feel that it just needs an update visually, some of the videos look incredibly old and outdated. I also did notice quite a few spelling mistakes and errors on the pages during the course which need amending. Other than that I enjoyed my TEFL.org experience and would recommend it to a friend wanting a TEFL certificate.”

“Feedback is given clearly and with detail which makes it uncommon to need to take several attempts at any tasks. Great examples are given to broaden creativity with lesson plans and recognising different types of learners.”
