“The course was interesting mostly but feel some of the materials can be updated to be more engaging. For 20+ minute long classroom lessons I found it easier when they were broken into smaller sections as in the final course after grammar and methodology. Overall feel confident in being able to plan and deliver a lesson when the time comes to it though”

“The teaching materials and online classes are of a relatively high standard. Probably as good as you are going to get with "at your own pace" online classes. Face-to-face classes are going to be far superior but if you need to learn remotely, then this is most likely the course for you.”

“Tefl has helped me achieve the certificate to teach ESL to students and further my career. I would recommend this course for anyone looking to teach. “This classes are very informative. I think they do a great job outlining what you need to know and testing your understanding. I would have liked a few more assignments to build my confidence in lesson planning.”

“It was good. Classrooms were sometimes hard to hear. Lessons shouldn’t be split into multiple sections for example: definition and examples can be put together instead of multiple separate 30 second videos.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I was able to complete the 168-hour course from home and at my own pace. I found it very well-structured and with the quizzes, assignments and feedback from my tutor, I was able to see my progress throughout the course. “The course was really good with sufficient content to prepare me to teach. I found the videos fantastic and liked the variety of tutors. I was also relieved to find that it was scottish tutors, which helped me to engage with the content. I did find the first two modules really hard going and it took me a long time to complete these and at one point thought I'd withdraw, but to be honest I think that's just the complexities of the English language!!”
