“The TEFL program was top notch. The sequence of lessons and categories, enhanced my ability to do my very best. Whenever I encountered any problems in completion of the lessons, my tutor Steve provided valuable feedback in a timely fashion. He was a great support and an integral part toward the completion of and success in earning my TEFL certificate!”

“It was a fantastic experience! I love that you could go at your own pace. Since I worked a full time job during this course, I really needed that. I was honestly surprised about how much insight I gained about English grammar in addition to how to teach students most effectively. The English language seems simple to me since I use it instinctively but I have realized during the course that it’s full of nuances and exceptions that can be a major challenge to learners.”

“The thing I enjoyed and appreciated most was receiving feedback from trainers / teachers. Not only fast, factual, but always good advice! I also found the videos from lessons quite helpful and inspirational. In some modules I would appreciate more detailed preparation for the final assignments. I used the course as a “refresher”, as I have a degree in English education already, and found some of the grammar modules a little too simplistic. Methodology-wise - really inspirational and learned new things! In general - happy 😊 THANK YOU!!!”

“I am grateful that TEFL has online learning available for those who want to be English teachers. I appreciate the mixture of easy to hard quizzes that I did. I am thankful for my teacher who corrected my assignments and gave me useful and practical information once I get to teach. I find what I have learned at TEFL can not simply be used to teach English and French (which I speak and write fluently) but any subject in a classroom I will teach in the future. Kudos to all at TEFL who have taken part of making the teaching engaging, entertaining, and educational!”

“I was very pleased with the modules and instruction provided in the 120 hour course. Assignments with prompt and thorough tutor feedback were good to help practice the material and teaching strategies. The videos were consistently well done. The online layout was especially user friendly. The instructor for the online weekend course was excellent.”

“Hello 👋, I really enjoyed the TEFL experience, it seemed intimidating at first but that didn't last long. I actually never liked school, nor my teachers so this was an interesting experience. I can't wait to find work, hopefully teaching online or in a small class to start with.”

“For being an online course, it was amazing. I can't really think of anything better that could be done, I was really impressed. Going back though, I wish I did an in-person class cause I could tell it would be a lot more realistic and useful.”

“This was a wonderful experience with a well organised course, challenging but feasible assignments, and lots of useful information. The support (and feedback) of the tutor was also remarkable. “Course was very engaging and I enjoyed it a lot, the telephone course was a bit outdated and not very relevant to today but was still useful information. In the videos I often couldn't here the students talking but wasn't a huge issue, overall would recommend!”

“For a short course, it certainly covered a lot and downloading the course meant you could go over it again and again if necessary. Tutor was very helpful. It would be good to see classes with students who virtually have no English. The students used had enough English to understand what was expected. Also they were well behaved for challenging students! The multiple choice quizzes were sometimes confusing as there were other suitable answers for some statements but were marked wrong. However, the course achieves what it sets out to achieve but I believe students would need to revise frequently to take it all in. I think this course with a good TEFL textbook would be really helpful to launch a career as a TEFL teacher. Thank you.”

“I enjoyed taking this course and liked the tutor support system: I got inspiring ideas of how to design and deliver a language course and had a better understanding of how to be a supportive teacher. In particular, the grammar section systematically goes through all the key language points, which is comprehensive, yet easy to follow. The classroom demo videos are valuable reference, providing details of what makes an effective and fun class. Throughout the course, there is not a single dull moment. Management of the course is also impressive: communication is always timely, assignment marking quick, and recommendations constructive.”
