“I completed the 120 course while I was working. I found it easy to understand and the modules were formatted in a way that I could go at my own pace. The tutor was also approachable and gave detailed feedback for my assignments.”

“I really liked the course. The teachers do a great job and I'm very grateful for my mentor for all his advice. The only thing that I missed was a video about a telephone lesson and a teaching large classes video. It's still difficult to imagine how to teach 50-60 students.”

“Very easy to use, simple to complete certification for teaching. The amount and the level of assignments seems to be correct for the qualification gained. I found some of the videos slightly infuriating to watch, and a couple could perhaps benefit from being re-recorded. Zoom is no longer less well-known than Skype, for example.”

“Very intense and thorough course. I have the upmost respect for all TEFL teachers as this was incredibly difficult to complete and I have a degree in English Literature! The grammar course was the trickiest and in all honesty I still feel rather lost and English is my first language.”

“I thought the program was very good. My teacher's feedback was helpful and encouraging. I would suggest two improvements: 1) the audio during student production time was not good at all. I found many times that I would have benefited from hearing what the students were discussing during an activity. 2) I would have liked a way to contact my teacher other than when submitting an assessment. There were times I would have liked to respond to her feedback but there was not way for me to do that. The only contact was when I submitted an assessment-- and how can I just tack on a question there? Maybe I missed something and there was a way to interact with her. If so, maybe making it more obvious on the course. ALSO BELOW I AM ASKED ABOUT A DELIVERY. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT IS IN REFERENCE TO. SHOULD I BE RECEIVING SOMETHING IN THE MAIL???”

“I believe it was very efficient at getting the information across to me and the videos sat well with me as I realize videos and visual learning works well for me. Well explained, elaborate and specific to what you need to do to be a respectable english teacher. Personally, the only thing it lacked was practical experience teaching and some one on one time with my tutor. I feel if I had 2 or 3 video calls with my tutor to practice my teaching as an assignment, I would bd better of than now because now yes I have the knowledge, structure and gist for teaching my classes but no practical experience. I plan to use a freelance software like italki to give first a few free trials and free lessons in order to gain experience then eventually increase my price as I improve and get more comfortable with my new skill. However, as it is I dont feel as comfortable jumping into a new job without practical experience and also, the majority of jobs want you to have experience so it is definitely needed and an advantage. Thank you for the lessons and I hope this feedback helps.”

“I really enjoyed the course. Well structured. The videos are with teachers who are clearly very skilled, and friendly. I also liked the easy layout of the courses, so I could easily return to specific videos as required for revising topics. The responsivness of the tutor was excellent. “I was rather nervous at the start , not having studied for many years , but found the whole experience very enjoyable . The "in person " weekend was wel taught and , as importantly , fun , and the online parts were clear , sufficiently detailed and well taught . I liked also having a transcript , so one could go over topics again”
