“I thought the courses were very good and I enjoyed them - but I never found any TEFL employment online and I basically gave up in the end. Although I have years of teaching experience, they all wanted a minimum of 1 year TEFL teaching experience - and those jobs were to teach 3-5 year olds!”

“TEFL Org are continually evolving to provide useful content and courses for EFL tutors. Last summer I completed their 'online teaching practice' over 3 mornings, which was excellent. It was great to have (remote) face to face contact with the tutor, who was so helpful and encouraging. This summer I have completed the '40 hour online exam preparation course'. The content of this was much drier and therefore a little more hard going. Although there was a mentor who we could contact via email and who also marked our written assignments, it was not as helpful as speaking face to face.”

“Learning remotely is a brand new experience for me and I was anxious about how I would cope without a live learning environment. The TEFL Org programme has surprised me how much I am enjoying the course and with the support of a Tutor, I now feel more confident about remote learning. Great experience.”

“Hi I am only on the second module at the moment, but all things considered, I am happy with the course. I am a photographer / videographer by profession and my eye always is drawn to the visual media aspect of things. I would say that your classroom videos could do with some work. Not from the teaching aspect, but from the production. Just an observation. I am looking forward to completing the course. Many thanks Arran”

“The courses are well laid out and it’s not difficult to keep going. Unit by unit progress is made. The videos are concise and so not take up too much data. My request is that there are more diagrams and visual learning aids. Specifically, one example would be a graph or table illustration of the different stages of language learning. This comes up in the Emthodology assignments, but there is nowhere aí have found to clearly reference what to expect in ability from a particular learning category, e.g., pre-intermediate.”

“I dislike how I only have one choice of word tenses when it comes to typing in the answer.There are many correct ways to to word it but I only have once word choice.”

“This is the worst course that I have ever taken! I have taken online courses for the past 10 years and I have never had an experience such as this on with TEFL. The course work is manageable and the delivery is acceptable however, the testing feedback did nothing to assist me. As such, I have all but given up on passing any of the written exams. I even extended for a month with the hopes of passing these exams, but I am unable even after asking the tutor for help. I will not be referring TEFL to any of my students, colleagues or friends. “It's a good and interesting training, however some of the materials and videos run a bit fast and it forces me to go back and have a second look at them. It's probably something personal which may have to do with my own learning speed, but in my opinion there are certain details that would be more effective if they were dealt with at a slower speed. Overall, the course is quite helpful and instructive. Thanks for the opportunity”

“I just started the course. I finished the first module (nouns) of the grammar course. So far so good. I didn't rate TEFL higher at this point because I'm just starting out. I thought the video on class instruction should have included what age group the instruction was meant for as the concepts were difficult for the students to understand (at least that was my take on the video). I am grateful that my mentor Denise has already reached out to me! I look forward to what the next part of the grammar course has to teach me and when I finally get past grammar into the coursework that counts towards the certificate. Thank you.”
