“I found the lesson and instructions clear and easy to follow. Interaction with students and teachers gave me an insight into what an international English class may look like. I loved the quizzes and the 70% pass expectation as you felt as though you had a chance to redeem yourself. I did have problems with some quizzes where the answers weren't saved and I scored low the first time around. A technical glitch perhaps. Other than that, I am grateful for the support from Joanna, especially when tackling the end-of-unit assignments. I have no hesitation in recommending this course. Thank you for my certificate. Thank you for the Webinars as they will be very helpful. Now onward and upward to better things. All the best. With much gratitude from New Zealand.”

“The course was good and comprehensive, covering all the basics of teaching english as a foreign language. Highlight was the 30hr in person weekday element to my course. You could tell Simon as genuinely passionate and highly skilled at teaching English and languages in general. Truly helped integrate what I had learnt/covered throughout the online portion of the course. Cannot praise Simon enough.”

“It was a great course that offered many videos and everything you need to know to be a good teacher. I realized so many things now and by applying everything I saw and read in this course , I can make my classes both interesting and enjoyable. It started with grammar and it explained all the teaching methodology for the rest of the modules, including online(skype, zoom) It was demanding in doing the assignment, but my tutor, Asif was great in explaining everything to me. I love this course and warmly recommend to everyone, both new in teaching or who only wants to improve their teaching style. Thank you.”

“The only reason I'm giving this 4/5 and not 5/5 is because of the course about online teaching. It left some things to be desired. Most things are online now. It would have been great to spend more time gaining familiarity with that. I especially would have loved to have been able to participate in a couple of real/live online sessions where I could have acted as a student teacher or simply an observer. Another idea would be to allow us to teach a brief online lesson to someone, or to at least ask us if we would like that (I'm sure some people would prefer to pass haha, but I would have liked the opportunity). The only other criticism I have is about the part on "difficult" or disruptive students. As a former high school teacher, that part was a joke. If you want to prepare us for difficult students, we need to have much better examples of difficult students, not students who are great but may have misunderstood or forgotten the instructions. Thank you! If you like my ideas, then feel free to reach out and consider hiring me!”

“This is for the 220 hour level 5 course. I found the online course materials easy to follow with an excellent flow. Response times for queries and grading of assignments were superb. The in-person course was a great learning experience and a lot of fun. The quality of the teaching is very high and the organisation cares about ensuring its qualifications carry a high standard. I feel adequately prepared to begin gaining practical experience as a volunteer or entry-level teacher. In addition, I've acquired transferable skills that will be useful in other areas of my life/career.”

“Very good and detailed course, everything is clearly explained thoroughly. The class videos provide a very good real examples in teaching and dealing with students, however I cannot find the class videos of some courses.”

“Dear Alan I just want to congratulate everybody delivering this TEFL course on a job extremely well done.I am a full time teacher in South Africa with teaching experience in Primary Schools (All subjects) and High School Mathematics .I took the course because I wanted to prepare myself for teaching English in the international arena.The course was of a high standard and I appreciated the professional advise that Alex gave me after each assignment.I really enjoyed the videos and quizzes.As for a suggestion from my side , I think if you could add to the online teaching course, working with children e.g. storytelling, let them read speech bubbles and sight words and how to incorporate games and giving incentives like stars on the zoom or other platforms.Or maybe if I specialize in online teaching through TEFL Org, I suppose it would be part of such a course because I just did the general course?Thank you once again.I recommended TEFL Org to my daughter.She will start with the course in the near future.”
