“The knowledge the teachers at TEFL.org had to share was plentiful and shared in evenly-paced videos, readings, quizzes and tests. While FEFL.org I understand that TEFL.org is a UK company, it was occasionally jarring to see a mix of American English and British English--my course stated that it was American English but that wasn't always the case. One thing that would have made this course better than it is if the course spent time showing us HOW TO DESIGN A LESSON PLAN! Having us make a lesson plan without seeing how a teacher goes about making one was pretty disappointing, and trying to figure that out from trial and error wasn't all that fun.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It was very thorough, detailed and good teaching techniques were taught. Classroom videos that were shown in each modules were excellent. Quizzes, activities and assignments were very useful. I thoroughly recommend this course to whoever wants to teach english abroad, online or to business students.”

“Overall, the course felt very disorganized and outdated. I appreciate the reasonable price, but if it were up to me I would revamp the course structure to make it more cohesive and effective. It also unfortunately reminded me of certain classes in high school/college in which I wasn't able to learn much or make the material my own because I had to learn what the specific teacher wanted and cater to them, telling them what they wanted to hear so I could pass the class but in a way that did not assist in my intellectual growth. It could also use some zhush to make it a little more interesting and eye-catching to help the prospective teachers stay engaged and therefore bring some of that magic into their own lessons to help their students.”
